They must work with their team and find the proper guests that people might want to hear from, coordinate with the sponsors to get paid, plan the date (that that matches their schedule) with the guest, setup the technology to be heard, and then get together to tag team them to make the guest comfortable, talkative, respect their limits to open up to inform, know when to let the guest talk, when to go in to move the conversation forward, BS now & again, be witty/ funny making it engaging & interesting to the casual viewer AND fans keeping the interest and do as many as you can to get paid & be worth your time. It's a lot to take in... together. Imagine if you had to work with your spouse at your work pretty regularly. And this is just ONE of your jobs. If you recall both do other podcasts, still do stand up AND parent. No matter how long a couple has been together, not all couples could pull that off. Especially when sometimes they talk about intimate topics in their professional, social, relationship, and even sexual lives. They make it look easy... because they're professionals and comedians, but it's really not. That's why I like it. Few couples in the entertainment business could pull this off making it this good... for this long.
