It’s ridiculous to say her speaking voice was fake. Comparing Whitney of 1986 to “Being Bobby Brown” Whitney is absolutely ludicrous. Go hate somewhere else or be honest and try to exercise some objectivity.

Tracy Lands You are comparing a 21 year old young lady to a late 30s year old woman. And this was very early in her career when she was young, new and fresh.. so she had to speak with grace and class. That’s how she was marketed

I'm GLAD someone said it. Whitney Houston was and IS Amazing. As a person and professional in her professions. ALL of those interviewers that she encountered piss me off and I know they are ALL receiving their karma/dharma for what they did towards and to her. As well as those other pieces of s*** that hurt her while she was alive. Rest peaceful Queen Whitney Elizabeth Houston, until THE TRUE HEAVEN is prepared and ready for you.🙏🏽🕊️💚

Not to give Jane Pauley a pass, but I feel like this pointed kind of interview style was the norm/standard at the time. I've watched morning show interviews with other celebrities from that era (Madonna, Janet, Cher, Mariah etc.) and the back and forth is often similar, with some exceptions (Donnie Simpson and Ed Gordon come to mind)

The interviewer is stupid for even thinking that her talent would not have been discovered had she not been born into a musical family. For God's sake, she was known as "THE VOICE," one of the best singers ever, and to some the very best. And those rude questions would have been handled differently had an older Whitney been there. In any event, her beauty and her demeanor and her expressions...Wow! I'll always be a loyal, loving fanatic.

Not necessarily. Recent advances in genetics have discovered that all addicts were born with that illness. All it takes is ONE hit to get the addict going. Its like high blood pressure and diabetes, which are inherited. Once the illness is "activated," it never goes away. For addiction, only abstinence works. In my field, I've seen addicts lose decades of sobriety. It's heart wrenching.
@ThundermansThunder
@ThundermansThunder 2 жыл бұрын
@@MiguelRodriguez-zd6tq Indeed. People act as though she never had a choice to begin taking them, as though she couldn't think for herself, and it just is not true. She chose her own path and deeply regretted it. Unfortunately, drug addiction changes the brain's receptors so that the body experiences unbearable pain and gives the darkest, deepest, terrible thoughts when the body goes into withdrawal, making it one of the hardest things in the world to stop.

Apparently, there are people who try to make this into something ugly when it is not. A good interviewer asks probing questions and makes statements to initiate conversation, it is part of the job. Interviewers often "play the devil's advocate," so to speak, to probe at the sincerity of the interviewees to encourage forthcoming answers that we might not have otherwise learned. Remember, Whitney was still a rising star at this point, this being the year that she released her second album. Her first album floundered at first, and was just now gaining in popularity, just now starting to be really noticed by the public at large. Jane was attempting to get details how Whitney planned on achieving those aspirational goals. Jane succeeded, Whitney explained her priorities and how she expected things to work in the future. Jane was fully respectful and professional with every question she asked. There is nothing here to indicate that Jane Pauley was in any way jealous of Whitney or trying to belittle or embarrass her.

Mummy tells me that people would go see the movie just to hear Whitney sing, even in the States (having a part of the family over there) + Australia. They would all call themselves saying how beautifully Whitney had sung. We didn't have any internet, nothing. I vote NO for a remake of the Bodyguard! I heard Cardi B. might play Whitney's part. Personally, while I do have enough college credits to be at the junior level, also, with so many in all God's Sent Walks of Earthly Life, know that formal education, while very important - it is far from the only God Sent Holy Spiritual Heart Bone-Marrow-Eyes-Hands-Human-bodily Necessary Education as is Each a Human Being Person Life Worth in image and likeness also Dignity, a Devout Gentleman Testimony or Devout Lady Testimony. God - Creator- Sender of Divine Providence; molds, shapes, sculptures every single nuance of those who by Grace (Always Available Divine Sent Blessing, Inspiration) keep the same Grace for Grace in Each as a Testimony. ~ By God's Wonderful Counseling, it has been a part of my life to know the above. Yes, I could have finished school had I known in God's Impartial Providence to major in something, most likely in the English language, (my first language), like harmonic music appreciation alliteration syllabic pronunciation arts & science poetic literary skills for writing, i.e. Affidavit signed by God's Providential Trusted Witnesses, writings as a contributor for now available "Pure Flix," for example. They are one of many of God's Providential Trusted Groups in God's Graced Proclaiming The Good News, Glad Tidings, Gospel, just like during the first century. ~(*note, everyone knows instigating 'politque';- {i.e. as 'me, myself, & I;- I am responsible for my personal 'politque'};- so by 'politque' Each by Grace in the image & likeness of God knows not to point any particular way, but assert God's Impartial Ways. This part of God's Sent Salvation history is recorded in the Middle East, but God's Justice & Peace Perfect Parenting Resolute Wisdom In Absolute God's Ways Compassion, Knows, Sees What Is Best For Each of us. We need not be cringing in fear of those who behind the scenes use in emotionally charged situation in particular, but other ways like compliments or acknowledgement of Graced achievements to be an active simpatico, but may have Impartially Known to God, but indicate vain anterior motives;- (*note: since time immemorial, common in humanity);- but, Each, without religious preoccupation, in Graced Playfulness in all Rest, Breath, Existing as otherwise God's Favored for God's Providential Holy Purpose, as God Always Sends God's Blessed Meaning to One's Self-hood in this World.);- so in this one compact non full inclusive of by The Divine Holy Spirit, Divine Natural Law Spirit, Divine Shekinah Glory Spirit - Sent By God's Favor in a Holy Particular Way To The One Holy Bible Believing Assembly Hospitable Gathering Congregational Welcoming of We of God's Graced God's Good Will Family Church;- whereby, by God's Blessed Inspired Favor We Each have Impartially Known By God, a Lifetime's Charitable in God's Impartial View Only Testimony, to offer in caring, bearing, sharing with one another, for each other, as others for God's Sent Life, Worthiness, & Dignity. We each know this, not here in a vacuum of individual 'I know what's correct,' nor groups thereof; nor upwards of all of humanity in this regard; but for Absolute Truth, Goodness, & Beauty has Always Been Eternal. ~ Peace & Gladness $ Strength, have a wonderful day!

Whitney was so beautiful and her voice is a paradise for my ears. Unfortunately I think she is stoned on this interview.

What a stupid comment. But you overlooked the rude and disrespectful interviewer. I wonder why, do you have anything in common?
