I'm an amateur and I've tried acrylic before. I never could get it to work. I got the brush you recommended and followed these instructions and it worked the first time.

What I am noticing when walking/guiding the product, the product automatically sticks to my brush. So I usually rush to try and clean my brush and go back to shape the nail and it’s already formed.

This has also happened to me. I believe this happens if the bead is too runny or if i place it on the nail too quickly. If you have had the brush for a long time maybe it has been damaged or it has to do with the quality of it

I noticed that as well, I always have product on my brush. So then my monomer has acrylic in it when I go to clean my brush.

You may be using the wrong part of your brush to move your product and the product is gettin stuck. Check out this video (around 2:30) for some tricks to keeping the product from clogging the brush) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGTdYXmClNufmK8&feature=shares

How would I fix the top of my brush? It literally is like bend like a L , like the very end/ tip but it’s very minute and the very end, should I trim it? That’s how small it is, or what would you recommend? I have Greg’s brush, and I’m still learning and thank goodness for this video too because I’m still having trouble with the correct consistency, either too runny or the bead is not dry( with powder still in it) just doesn’t more too much and to hard to once applied into the nail

If you are leaving your brush sitting in the dampen dish for more than a couple of minutes, this is probably bending the point of the brush. Try rolling the brush back to a point and that should straighten out the bristles. You may have to roll it a few times to straighten out the bristles. Here's a video to show you how to care for your brush (specifically around 5:25). kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGTdYXmClNufmK8&feature=shares

Pls what size of acrylic brush is good for working
@youngnailsinc
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
Brush size is just a preference. Greg uses his signature brush, size 12, and Tracey uses the artistic sculptor, size 9.

Is acrylic easier to work with than poly gel?
@miraclejimerson1649

Good question!! Wondering the same!

@@miraclejimerson1649 using polygel has helped me a lot with working with acrylic after it’s on the nail. The liquid to powder ratio is something else entirely. Imo I would say polygel is easier, I guess depends on the person..I’m sure ladies or gents that work with nothing but acrylic will say that acrylic is easier. 😊 So yea, I guess my answer to your question would be that it depends on the person and what they are used too.

It really depends on what you practice. Both can be easy to use once you know how to work with them, but if you don't learn proper techniques, they can be tricky.
