Kris Kross had the world watching, from their first album to the last in which I still have all their albums. It's sad music changed so fast to where they couldn't make more music and really it's because their fans grew older and Gangsta rap took over.

Kris Kross started the beef with ABC. When the Jump video came out they took a shot at ABC in a skit going into the Jump video. They later had it removed. ABC were actually the first ones to wear their clothes backwards, Kris Kross just embraced it more as part of their gimmick which worked out well in their favor. So ABC had a legit reason for not caring for Kris Kross. Da Youngsta's I too understand. They came out the same year, wrote their own raps, & Q-ball produced their albums. They were definitely more talented artist, that watched their hard work compared to Kris Kross basically go unnoticed. That's like a person working a 9 to 5 for 10 years continually watching employees with a lot less talent making more than he/she in less than year of being there. Illegal was taking up for ABC mainly. Illegal had the same manager as ABC Had. Even as teenagers if discovered you not writing your own raps you get talked about &/or both not respected. I also feel their last album "Young Rich Dangerous" should've gotten more respect. But their time , like most kids does time had expired.

@@YoungRelay Another thing, dont believe everything you hear in videos. I'm telling you 1st hand they fabricate stories. Truth be told JD wrote there lyrics but you did not mention that chris kelly started writing his own lyrics after the 1st album. I'm Just trying to shed light on your video.

They achieved a lot in their 6 year run two platinum albums and one gold album I would take that any day plus Chris Kelly was still doing music helping out underground artists
