Maybe you can find a old metal/plastic cover for an EGR valve to cover the wastegate. If you Google Buick Ln3 you can see a big plastic cap near the brake master. If not hope a nice flat or wrinkle finish stealths it up.

You can verify the wastegate spring pressure If you have a hand vacuum pump that alsi does pressure. I've had to do it to double check my springs. Wrinkle black looks nice on the compressor housing btw.

You could make a tube to relocate the wastegate lower down and out of sight.

U could make a rad overflow bottle from a intercooler pipe, just weld some caps on top and bottom and then paint it black.

I had the same motor, fully tuned, but running a vtec head. On boost around 8-9 psi, I was also running e85, skunk 2 manifold and minor mods. Number 3 rod snapped in half. All bearings in tact, no spun rods, just was pushing 240-250hp. I wouldnt push this engine further than 200 whp for reliability. My 2 cents. I must say, was fun.
