I've been in a rut for so long. Every week, I would go with a so so effort, and on friday, I would grind on valorant for about 4 hours and sleep at 12 or 1 am 💀. I really want to do better, and every week after valorant I would realize how I wasted my, time and I would myself self I would change tmr, but I didn't. SO i've seen alot of these videos right, genuine great advice here but I have a small issue, I became the smart kid (havent joined a gym yet but do home exercise to keep shape) after I saw my grades drop during online classes as covid downtime hit me really hard (i got fat and dumb), im giving my school finals right now for Year 10 and the first one was today and I am chilling for the most part and by May/June I'll have my O level Subject finals (I took full sciences, ESL and Computer Sciences and Math). The funny part is my school finals are HARDER than the O level finals and my Chemistry exam (the one I had today) went Good (expecting an A most likely), there are a few mistakes in there as far as I know as there were some tricky question but aside from that, now that I have reached this point I feel stuck, i had my comeback from Year 7 (during/ after COVID) which felt amazing at the time but what now??? (Oh and btw my school makes their exams harder as thats basically how they train us to get good grades in the Cambridge Igcse O level exams which are really important for the evaluation of students taking them)

THANK YOU !!! this is one thing that is not talked about enough when we get forms/assemblies/talks etc etc about revision. every subject is so different. i'm currently in a levels (french, spanish, music tech btec) in my second year and the teachers are always too general when giving out revision advice. flashcards are such a waste of time when all i need to know is the translation, i can put that in a list. the only way i can really revise for exams is by . . . .(shocker i know) doing practice exams !!!!!!!! and also doing the classwork because we literally practice every skill needed for the exams weekly in class.

For my October PPE Exams I did HORRIBLE, Im in year 11 and were having another mocks (p sure last mocks before GCSES) and its in a few days, in October I got a 2+ For English Language, 1 For English Literature, 3 For Maths, 1+ for Science, 2- For Business, 3 For Geography and i was so flipping dissapointed, my parents were so angry, i revised but still flopped and i feel like im such a failure, ive been revising very hard laterly especially in winter break and hopefully on the 30th which is when my exams r i will do great and my academic comeback will come to use, ill let you know what i get :) thanks for the video very fun to watch and entertaining!

honestly student rooms can be soso helpful with revision strategies and just overall if you have any questions abt gcses !! i did my gcses in 2022 and i was crazy lucky because we had the advanced info, but !!! heres some things i did !!!!! to make revision easier, i would do maths exams from youtube, there's some teachers who post a revision test a day before the exam. it's less daunting being a video and the teachers in the video explain it !!! there's also plenty of guides on youtube for essay structures in english and quotes. please please please compile your quotes and learn them, and the same for any context for the lit exam, if you start now, then you'll know them all by gcses !!!! hope you are proud of yourself regardless of what results you get !!! good luck !!
