I always rated the Mk3 Mondeo higher then the Xtype.

I have driven those jags loved it 2.5 auto.. with a sports button.. I Was very impressed with the type.. though The sills were rotten tbh

I have owned 4 X-Types and 1 Mondeo. No comparison......the quality of the Jaguar way above the Ford. Estate versions are best option. Just a pity about rotten sills on the majority of X-Types.
