The Chromebook will allow you log in as normal, but the user should follow the steps as seen in my video to correct the issue.

I found a solution to the problem. Just log in with the same email and code that you were using again, then enter the computer code and it will open.

I applied the one option, but when it started and click on update, then restart the system, and start again, I got the same issue "Your Chromebook is locked due to a known issue........etc..."

It is uncommon. I have seen it only once in all of these years, so it is possible, but rare.

The BIOS TPM setting cause this issue ! Find a way to clear the BIOS TPM then you are good to go !

That is the issue with Chromebooks. The BIOS TPM is locked in these. So, I show the two options that work in my classroom.

According to what I have seen, the error does not come back. But we do a powerwash on the units after all of the waiting, just in case.

Seems it misses the whole battery efficiency problem.

Is your Chromebook battery draining fast? Normally it should last more than 8 hours on most models. If you are having a battery efficiency problem, you may have an app that is drawing too much power by keeping the CPU busy. You may do a powerwash or check the apps and extensions, to see if any are hogging the processor.

I just had to power wash my chromebook because it stopped accepting my password to log in. The best thing to do is set things up where all of your downloads goes directly to google drive so you’ll never lose them. I lost my vpn and antivirus apps after the power wash.

I am sorry to hear that. You should be able to get your VPN and other apps after logging in to your Google account.

You may try a recovery , Press and hold Esc + Refresh , then press Power . Let go of Power. On some Chromebook models: Press and hold Esc + Maximize , then press Power. Let go of Power. When a message shows on the screen, let go of the other keys. Please, Let me know if that worked on that model.
