When it comes to my dull skin, the only things that worked were the riceberry face serum and sunscreen by littleextrrea. They are very moisturizing. They make my face skin hydrated, and with regular use, you can see the difference yourself. They give a shine to the skin and are so lightweight that they get easily absorbed, giving maximum results. Their texture is not oily at all and works well with my skin. Vitamin C in it helps brighten my complexion, and niacinamide helped fade my dark spots. Overall, I would rate them a solid 9 after using them for 2 months.

I have a question about my skin care routine. I have dry patchy spots of my cheeks that I would like to get rid of. I want to try using the Cerave renewing SA cleanser in my morning routine. Right now I use Cerave hydrating facial cleanser in the morning. My question is : can I use Cerave renewing SA cleanser in the morning followed by my Cerave vitamin C… and at night time use the Cerave Hydrating cleanser followed by my retinoid .. ? What’s your thoughts.. my over all goal is to smoothen the texture of my skin and get ride of the wrinkles and line under my eyes that are very evident when I apply make up.

@@db-gb5xi I checked out the video and vitamin c recommendations from her my shelf page. Both the La Roche Posay and Cerave Vitamin Cs are budget friendly, but completely ineffective due to their ph, so they will not help with hyperpigmentation. The other Vitamin C recommendation is Skinceuticals, which has the correct ph but not budget friendly. I don't know anything about the Vichy Vit C, however, its third ingredient is alcohol, which is very drying.
@db-gb5xi

@@lbf1231I understand. I know a couple skin care folks who like the Vichy one. They also have an anti-aging peptide c products as well in those stupid glass ampoules you have to break open and that's another one I've seen recommended. There are also all of the CEF dupes and the vit c derivatives. There are a lot of derms on Shop My Shelf who have vit c products that they recommend though who also have channels here. I'd mention Dr Dray but she doesn't like vitamin c. Though she has lot of videos on hyperpigmentation including her top 10 ingredients to fade it.

I really appreciate the way you clearly explain the steps to a great routine. I ordered the Naturium tranexamic acid before I realized it is more for Melasma. I have age/ sun spots on my cheeks, am 59 and have dry sensitive skin. Would this be too strong for me? Again thank you for your advice.

I use it for hyperpigmentation; the fact it’s called an acid is misleading. I don’t find it irritating at all with my sensitive skin.

Thank you so much for this video. Everyone is always saying there's so many products out there to help dark spots well I've tried half of them and they haven't worked. So great to have knowledgeable, well-educated information

so i apply the lotion sunscreen before putting on make up. what happens when the sunscreen protection expires and it's time to reapply the sunscreen lotion?? can't reapply it on top of make up to avoid messing it up. what would be the best solution? thank you
