The really fun thing about Dance with Calamity is playing it with any effect that lets you look at the top card of your library at any time. Blackjack is a lot more lucrative when you can't miss

I don't think "loot at any time" involves while resolving a spell. You can't look at the top card while cascading as well for example. You can look before resolving the spell. Then the spell resolves completely, then you can look at the top card again.

It does! I did check with the judge group before putting it in the deck. Basically the only time you can't look at your top card is when you are in the process of casting a spell or activating an ability. Once it's paid for and on the stack, you're free to look at top card while it's resolving.

I'd have probably kept a couple of the Planeswalkers in the first deck, but specifically like, the ones who deal in both bodies and counters like Emperor and Elspeth, they can't be lynchpins or a Superfriends thing, and gods above card draw is more important than most of those goobers

In my Koll Deck. Dance with calamity reads "I'm going to dig for so many redundant, cheap, effective combo pieces until I can't. Then you die." This card is a big red button for the deck when the deck somehow hasn't won yet. And also someone else hasn't won yet.

I dont know if you keep these videos as short as they are for algorithm/interaction reasons, but i personally think they would benefit from being longer. As is, the breakneck speed makes it hard to follow each specific review. Maybe 15 minutes long instead might feel less rushed? Thats just my opinion though! Just because Marath has a few instances of the letter X in it does not mean it's an X spell commander. Unlike commanders like Rosheen or Zaxara, Marath does not provide support for X spells.

Hard disagree on that last deck being an X spell deck, it's 100% a tokens and +1/+1 deck. You laser focused so hatd on a single X cost in an ability that it blinded you to what the ability actually _does,_ which is make tojens and put counters on things.
