Yes he did hurt me and sabotaged the connection. I am done to feel like an option and be a secret. I am an open book and my inner circle knows about us. His inner circle knows nothing about us and that I love him so much. He wants to stay single and I will no longer playing a role that doesn't fits me. So I walked away. Oooh I know he's haunted listening to certain songs. He's told me that his favourite artist (David Gates & Bread) songs all have reference to me because of our past. Also that he gets teary listening to them and that was not only before this recent separation happened, but also over the decades that we have been apart. I wonder if he still listens to these songs? So that is true about music. He did say some very hurtful things to me this time, way worse than decades ago. He is an avoidant (self confessed) and it stemmed from what his mother did to us decades ago. He's never dealt with it, just carried the hurt, anger and resentment all these years and made bad relationship decisions based on it. Me coming back into his life after all this time definitely was the catalyst for the tower. He projected that right onto me. In a sense he's gone full circle. Wow re Pretty in Pink! We were born in the 70s and teens in the 80s so the Pretty in Pink movie reference is very relevant. It was actually released the same year that we met and started dating - 1986! Just like Blane's family, my persons family wouldn't accept me. Lies were told about me too and eventually we broke up because the fighting with his family spilled over into our relationship. He's since told me that he regrets not keeping the negative out of our relationship and should've kept fighting for me. I actually have a photo of us from back then where he's wearing a salmon pink shirt, I've got a purpley/pink shirt on and the bedroom wall is pink! There is a new third party now, he was married when we reconnected after 34 years (ironically three months after his mother passed). Don't know if they're still together, the shit hit the fan in a big way just over a year ago and we haven't spoken since. He was wanting to go that path with me, he even got me to have a reading done with him by a friend of his. But the third party got in the way and in his head about me/us. Again with the lies. It's a shame he didn't embrace it at the time, he was making good in roads. Guess he just wasn't ready and his ego took over. Again. This was so accurate, it's 100% our story! Thank you Angela 💜

Angela, I have moved on and he was with someone else but they are divorced now. I felt the marriage and then the divorce. His friends didn't like me because I was too strong and they didn't like it so they bad mouthed me and he ran. He cheated and pushed me away but kept calling and texting me. I know he is regretful of his actions because his life could have been so full. He wrote me a letter and called himself a coward. Funny thing my new husband shares the same birth date as him (I found out much later) and know that my husband is much better for me and will not hurt me like my masculine did. It was magical and amazing when it was good but then he started doubting and ended up pulling away. I wish him the best and I will find him in the next lifetime...
