I was bawling one night, and my dog walked over to me on the couch, jumped up on my lap, and started licking away at my face while he turned on his back and let me pet his stomach. I was genuinely surprised. He’s never done something like that before out of no where.

I was in tears on the ground when my mood suddenly dipped and my Springer came over to cuddle, lick my hands and face. It's so cute because they can sense sadness. It happened with another one of my dogs years ago when I hit her too hard and she wimpered, I felt incredible guilt and fell to the floor crying but she still came to cuddle me after hitting her.

My dog, Penny, had a heart attack yesterday December 13, 2019. She’s a Jack Russell terrier probably mixed. She was born 2004. I’m so heart broken. My wife and I were home when it happened. We rushed to emergency and they couldn’t revive her. My babygirl Penny will be missed. Her sisters Lucy, Chassis and Brownie will miss her. Her buddies Winston and Simba will bark at the neighbor dogs in her memory. LOL. But seriously, I am heartbroken. My grandma passed away on October 8, 2019, about 2 months earlier. Penny seemed like same ol’ Penny the day and night before. I’m crying right now as I type this. She was such a calm girl. I could’ve done better as her human. She will be cremated. Her viewing will be December 17 and then she will be cremated same day. I paid extra to view her going into the crematory machine. She will be missed so much. I love you, Penny. She knew it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THE WARNING SIGNS YOUR PETS SHOW. If something is not normal you should take them to the animal doctor immediately. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. I miss her dearly and it’s only been a day. I get home from work and now there’s one less dog. It’s sad. It’s fuckin’ sad. REST IN PEACE, MY BABYGIRL. LOVE YOU. PENNY: BORN 2004 DIED 12/13/2019. I want to tell the amazing story of my dog. It was the middle of winter and I got of my school bus. Normally, my dog I s waiting for by the door. But he wasn't. When I got in, my grandma told me that my dog (his name is Lilac) ran away and had been gone all day.mi burst into tears and kept saying I want my Puppy Back!! ONE WEEK later, yes that's right. FIVE DAYS of searching, my friends mom posted on fAcebook a picture of my dog on her porch. My mom saw it and told my dad to get in the car without saying where they where going or telling me anything about it. Later, I saw my grandpa carrying my dog into the house. I burst into tears of happiness. My dog was very skinny and had a EXTREEMLY BAD broken leg. One or two years later, HE RUNS AROUND LIKE A MANIAC!! Anyone else have a cool pet survival story?

so did my cat of 16 years. If I was sick he would cuddle on the bed with me and purr. The vibrations helped me feel better. When I cried after his "sister" died, he cried with me: flat on the ground with his head buried in hid paws. I think animals can teach us humans how to be empathetic.

I'd tell my smallest dog(who's almost 1 year old if not 1 years old)(though I love them both. I just understand this one more and she needs this: I love you ALWAYS even if my mom hates you. I will hug, cuddle, and play with you even if my mom doesn't acknowledge you're existence sometimes. I will tell you that you are a GOOD dog even though my mom yells at you and tells you how BAD you are and you can't do "shit". I will compliment you and give you attention even though my mom only compliments and sees your sister. I will hold you in my arms because you are safe with me even if mom slaps you sometimes. I will do ALL THIS and MORE. I won't GIVE UP on loving you because I want you to know that there is love, kindness, and a safe place even though you are always shaking so much from fear of her. It's okay if you are scared of me too because you're afraid I will hurt you too (through words and/or actions). I will still LOVE you till the day you die. :) I know what you are going through. I know HOW MUCH you fear her. I know your feelings because I.... Have lived with her and all of it much longer than you have. I NEED you just as much as you NEED me.
