OMG! I have that exact same rolling pin. I got it 30 years ago as a gift and I absolutely love it!! It is weighted so nicely and makes rolling anything a breeze! My wooden handles are long gone but I still use it! I've never seen another one until yours!

Probably not much. Pie crust is shortening and flour, salt and water. Should have enough "grease" to lift cleanly off the baking pan.

I think you got more icing on the sheet pan then you did the actual food. If you did that slower it wouldn't go all over the sheet pan!
