When you're actively trying to change your habits and life, you may try to use 'problem-solving' mode and... the first ideas you come up with may not be inspiring, motivating or EVEN DOABLE!
So, take some time to think again. Experiment, sure. But the solution you want should be doable, and as always, I'd say, doable with a sense of JOY!
[Pro tip: Instead of spending your thoughts on 'why' you're not changing or 'why' it's so hard to change, think of 'what' instead: what is blocking me from changing/doing/not doing this thing. You may make more headway if you listen to the answer to that from within and respond to it with compassion and solutions!]
The reason why the first solutions aren't the best is because you're working with the same brain mechanisms which may not be wired to help you succeed in changing! If it were so easy, it would already be done, right?
