Yes! Preferably a 200 part series tailored to my learning.

So I just started playing piano today. I’ve played in the past when I was a child but never really learned any “songs” and kinda just messed around. The most trouble I’m having is understanding where my fingers go. What would be helpful for me to get comfortable with the keyboard. Also idk if you do lessons or not. I have a lot of free time.

Thank you so much! This video is just what I need to getting started. It actually answers some of my questions about learning piano such as "Why is it always starts with C?" :D

I wish my piano lessons had been as clear as this, instead of being as clear as mud... with a snappy piano teacher too!

@Matthew Cawood Hi could react to Daniel thrasher when you accidentally write songs that already exist again, go for like number 4, 6 or 7. Number 4 the last song has an interesting arrangement. So does number 6. Number 7 is just really good to watch. Would be interesting to see your reaction.

I have started and stopped lessons more times than I can count. I have the desire, but lose interest when I cannot see meaningful progress. If you could interject easy/beginner intermediate songs (not childish, or anything written in my great grandparents era) to be learned that would be of great help. My end goal would be some easy listening, pop, jazz, etc. Cheers!

Hello ! Nice video it was super clear. I was wondering if reading sheets is a must when it comes to piano or not ? When I read (Sheets or book) I usually kind of just don't listen what's around me and it goes for piano which is kind of annoying since I love to play piano for myself but there is no point if I don't listen what I play. That's why I'm asking if training my ears wouldn't be a good alternative to sight reading for me ?

Can anyone advise, Is 88 keys often needed more than just 76? Thank you and happy christmas❤
@123SLM123Күн бұрын
Unless you want to play a wide variety of classical music, you'll be fine with 76 starting out. However, there's a good reason a piano has 88 keys and I would recommend buying one with 88 weighted keys. Or if you already have a keyboard with 76 keys and you find yourself enjoying learning the instrument, upgrading to a 88 weighted keys (digital) piano sooner rather than later.
