yeah, they played them but they weren’t exciting or anything too special. as someone who watches liga mx consistently, they were all over the place heading into the CWC. the coach at the time was very close-minded when it came to his players as he would filter the same players in and out and never really developed any other types of things in his system. did it work for a while? yeah, but it cost them in the end. not only that, gignac has so much favoritism in the league that it makes no sense.

Well coming from a Milan fan, the transfer of Giroud is necessary not because we plan to replace Zlatan soon and we need a permanent striker, its because he's been injured quite a lot last season. Other strikers in the team like Mandzukic somehow was deemed utter shite by Pioli while the rest are just unreliable.
