My hair does have waves when it’s wet and I scrunch is like mentioned in the video, but falls straight when it’s dried. Is there a way to prevent that?

Nah I don't think there is just try getting a fluffy in the front than make it textured on top it's what I did

My hair does curl and wave in water BUT not uniformly. A thin layer of top layer of hair is straight and stays straight. Help!

I would try a protein mask focused on the problem pieces! Redkens extreme line is really good. That may help!

Same! Except my straight sections are in weird patches that I can’t blend rather than at least a whole layer being one texture. 🤦♀️ Did the protein mask help?

Can I use K18 leave-in for the leave-in part? Also, why am I watching this... I have 2A very light fluffy waves and it's so hard to resist the urge to blow it out 😢😂

Your hair is so beautiful. I’m so frustrated because I have some sections of hair that look exactly like yours, some sections that are full out 3a curls, and sections that are literally pin straight no matter how much I scrunch. I so want to embrace my waves/curls, but can’t figure out what to with the stubbornly straight sections. Any advice appreciated!

@@purplegroot9787 maybe try a protein treatment on those sections and try finger curling them!

I definitely have *some* wave/bend in my hair. And if I scrunch it, it gets lot wavier/curlier, even without using any product. If I brush my hair, it's slightly poofy. But looking back at childhood photos, my hair looked a lot straighter/smoother back then. Do you think hair type can change as you get older? Is hair really wavey if you have to coax it out?
@melindab2 ай бұрын
@@Snoozler it definitely changes with age! My hair was much less wavy as a kid. Very fine and soft. Now it’s a frizzy poof lol you definitely have wavy hair! Try some of my routines!

I have like, 2b - 2c hair, and my moms hair is curly, and my dads is straight. Problem is, my mom has finer hair then me so when I try her routine it just doesn't end up working out for me, literally all she uses is a gel and then she scrunches it with a shirt and lets it air dry, but since my hair is a lot thicker then hers thanks to my dad, that just makes me hair lose any waves that are trying to form. A big problem for me is diffusing, and I need a gel with a strong hold. Everytime I try diffusing my hair, the top layer of my hair just loses any waves I create, so I think I'm doing something wrong. Could you possibly make a tutorial on how you diffuse your hair? And do you have any gel/mousse recommendations?

I have a video on here all about diffusing! I will definitely try to make an updated one soon! The not your mothers curl talk mousse is my fav!

Did this work for you??? If you notice waves or bends in the hair on any step, you don’t have continue to the next step. Just go to my last wash day linked in the description and you can go ahead and buy some wavy hair products through that video with a step by step routine to follow

Hi! I would highly recommend the umberto giannini products from my last video titled “your hair isn’t straight” it’s affordable and I show you how to use each product in that video! If they’re not available where you live or you want some good drugstore options to go grab now, let me know and I can recommend some from Aussie! I love them too
