What i often do is to hear music and reading the lyrics. Often i can remember the words that i learned via anki better, when i see them again in a song i like. Also it helps me to read quicker since some songs are pretty fast.

Mixing Anki together with free time activities like listening to music can make it stick much easier, you are right!

I have a question. I'm not planning to become a polyglot or anything, I just happened to like Spanish and Japanese that I've wanted to learn them for a long time. The problem is, since I started learning Spanish a year ago I've noticed that I'm not practicing English es much as before. Although, I'm fluent in English, I feel like I can't focus on two languages at the same time. I want to fully immerse myself in Spanish but I'm afraid that I won't have time or the energy for English. I'm at an intetmidiate in Spanish, so I started learning Japanese few days ago and I'm taking it easy. Just learning the basics and not rushing anything. I just don't know how to keep up with English while learning two languages at the same time! I'm worried.

@sheco97 Thank you for your comment! First of all you should check how much time you have in general for language learning. If it's let's say 9 hours a week you can dedicate 3 hours to every language and make a schedule and stick to it. Having a clear plan in my opinion when to learn will make it easier. If you worry that you forget English, how about watching tutorials about Spanish language in English. In this way you learn English and Spanish at the same time! Or you can download "Hello Talk" and make friends with English speaking people! Even if you cannot find the time to study you can speak English with people there in your free time! I hope those tips kind of helped(:
