Basically if malaysian car, just need ur grant, insurance purchase at borders, but this works till china only. For china u need an agent. Planning one month prior minimum

No permit to enter China. He has to do his paperwork in Malaysia before travelling into China by car. Laos and Thailand is visa on arrival.

Up to boten, ur standard docs like grant and passport thats all. But to cross into china u need an agent and an exorbitant fee.
