Most of the people are only talking about the ''Your love". There are so many other gorgeous songs by The outfield. Such as ' All the love in the world' , 'Night ain't over' , 'No surrender ' , 'After the storm' , 'talk to me' , ''since you've been gone'. They are better than auto tuned shitty damn music in nowadays. Those people were really talented. My opinion is the new generation don't know what the real music is. There are some good musicians in today too. But today people find taste on the ' surface', because they don't know about the 'core'. Also i'm from the 'new generation', though I'm lucky to feel the real music. " number of words per minute" is a talent of a vocabulary and speaking, not a music. a-ha , U2 , The outfield. , Richard Marx , Bryan Adams , The cutting crew , Foreigner .... etc. Thank you.

I was into heavier darker music at the time when the Outfield first hit. I ended up buying all three of the CD's as they came out. I just loved Tony's vocal melodies over the happy simple chords. Yeah back in the days when CD's were over $20. and CD players were $800. in 1987 money of course.

And NO down tuning either!!! It's a rarity to find a singer who sings in those registers when they're younger to still be hitting those original notes in the original keys when they're at Tony's age here. We really lost 2 of the greats when John and Tony passed.
