I've been noticing it lately, because he's fantastic when it's a guest he's really excited about, but he's also really good at interviewing Christina's preferred guests, too. Sorry i'm so late to the party but i just watched Christina's stand up special (mother inferior) and it was so, so fucking good. Just thought i would post this in case anyone else hasn't seen it yet. It's only by a wee margin, but i think it's even better than Tom's special and for me that is about as good as standup gets. Her delivery is awesome, her impressions and sound effects are perfect, the content is fresh, the subject's joked about are relevant to now and a total of zero fucks are given to if someone or some group of cupcakes get outraged or offended. She sticks to her beliefs (like all great comics should) that a joke, no matter the content, is always meant in good faith with the intention to make others smile and laugh. The material was edgy and original and is the kind that keeps you giggling while you reminisce about it even long after the show is done. I am pretty new to the whole YMH craze and new to Christina's work, but after watching one of her specials i believe she is a far superior comedian than 99% of the specials released lately and is one of the funniest comedian's I've seen.
