I still remember the moment I found your family on KZbin. It was 2009 and I was in the midst of a big move to another state and I had zero TVs in my home so I laid down on my air mattress and I turned on KZbin. I never had paid much attention to it but then somehow I found your family and from the moment I clicked, I was hooked! I watched your children grow from tiny tiny kiddos to now teenagers and above all I watched you grow into a beautiful human being! You truly are a light in a lot of people's lives...including mine! ❤️ Love yo'self!

I’ve been working so hard on myself. I had lost myself in my relationship with my husband. I was only focused on him. I am proud to say I am becoming more confident in myself and just really learning self love. Prayer and meditation has been a huge help as well. Much love ❤️

Hi Colette.. in a way you are right.. most important relationship with self. Build that up and the rest will follow. In a way we began seeing Shay too manic for a long time.. finally it crashed..but then healing was possible. Never easy... my own marriage crashed and burned finally though when my wife got cancer we moved back in so I could help. It was my life savings that sustained her for three years. Left me devoid of 3/4 of million but her life was worth the world. Of course her kids never thought that and I kept quiet. To me love mattered. Now I am dying of heart and lung problems left over from too many combat deployments in 30 yrs with the army as an officer. Yes.. I chose that over love. Bless you all..

Ah so needed!! I am starting an 8 week journey of self love and I'm hopeful that it'll trickle into the rest of every day life because of it. Started Nov 1st by Working out 4 times every week. Eating better and drinking water. Making sure to include my love for drawing and singing in my days. It's tough I'm working on the part where I think positively towards myself and life ..it's a habit I'm open to break and I know it'll take time. I had a rough morning with headaches not wanting to get out of bed, So I appreciate this sorta reminder it's like perfect timing ☺️🥰

Just spent 150 hours in a behavioral health hospital after a suicide attempt and this is EXACTLY what they've taught us in therapy!! You cant have a good relationship with anyone if you're not healthy in mind and body. You are worthy! You are loved! You are strong!! Love and miss you Collete and fam

As someone who has been where you are, I know how it feels. Stay strong. Ask for help when needed. Something I figured out that worked for me, was creating a pact with my mom. She asked if I would "never attempt again" and when I couldn't promise her that, she said, can you promise me 5 minutes? I said yes. Every 5 minutes she checked on me until I got annoyed and she moved it to an hour. Then to a week. Then to a year. For 5 years, mom called me on the anniversary to re-up my pact until I finally told her i didnt need that any more. I am now over a decade and I am still here. We have a code word if inever get close again, but if that is something that would help you, reach out to someone who can check on you when needed. You are loved and deserve to be here. You got this!
