Isolated muscle weakness is often just assumed to be a muscle that has weakened for whatever reason. And the antidote to this is often strength or resistance-based exercises - which makes perfect sense. However, I find clinically as a Physiotherapist that a large percentage of muscle "weakness" is not actually a true weakness, but an inhibition brought on by something else. Here's what you can do and try to figure this one out for yourself!

Been watching all these tips coming from 20 something. And this tip has been the most helpful for me. I’m dealing with arm and hand weakness that set on super quickly and made me freak out. I also has shoulder and neck pain especially when sleeping. I basically went to the gym and trained all the muscles groups I could think of including the forearms. I’m doing a little better now but I think I’ll try using a ball and a wall on my upper back to see what that does. Thank you!

I have L4/L5 degeneration. I think last time I checked that was hamstrings and glutes. I have issues with tight hamstrings. This sounds about right.
