Yo Coach D! I'm considering this helmet, but am worried about the dreaded "Mushroom head" effect! How is this helmet with that? It looks like it fits well on your head. Our head/face shape/crown height are somewhat similar. I just picked up a Giro Vanquish and it sits really high and the mushroom head is in full force! I am kind of right on the edge of moving from a medium to a large on the Oakley with size. Is the fit super small? Thanks for the video! Not a ton of reviews on this out there!

I’ve not found it to be too large and definitely not too small. I’m a medium in most helmets and this one goes on well even after adjusting the tension system. I can tuck my head with a high hands position and get pretty good alignment helmet to back no matter if I’m head up or head down. Hope that helps. - Coach D

@@BuildPeakCompete thanks for the response!!! I wound up purchasing the Large before I saw your response! eBay for the win! Brand new, $280 + shipping! I love the fit, I put it on and started running around the house making airplane noises. Straight up fighter pilot vibes! Love it!!! I’m using it Nov 6th for a 70.3 called the Oilman in Conroe, Tx! I’ll let ya know how it goes 😎
