Rich....... If I may, as an older person who loves this idea that I can play the bass just like you.... are offended with the introduction of the new basses that are out their in a setting such as yours. Please understand that as a student its enough to envision the neck of a 4 string with any other ..... such as a 5 or 6 string bass. Advance players are already indoctrinated with a 4 string, and can envision a 5 or 6 string layout..... Heck I'm still trying to get comfortable with a 4 string..... I appreciate your program here and I hope to be as good as you...... someday... thank you for what you do...

Hey Rich. New lover and subscriber and liker of your vids here. My praises are the same as everyone else's so I'll just say thank you so much for expanding my bass mind. Question, why do you turn off beats one and three on trusty Anda One?
@richbrownbass Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the kind words, and for your question. I turn off beats 1 and 3 to play more to the backbeat. It feels more organic, and by feeling the space I don't have to concentrate on playing to four very robotic clicks. Things just groove more. I hope that makes sense. Thanks again!
