Your *Post-Accutane* Skincare Routine

I was on that 25yrs ago. I was only told to avoid the sun, eating hot (in temperature & spice) foods.... Nothing else & no after care. I had lovely olive skin. I didn't feel my skin was that bad. My doctor referred me to a dermatologist after I had chicken pox saying I shouldn't still have acne at 19 years old..... It ruined my skin from head to toe, especially my lips. It took many years for my skin to get over it.

I am one month of acutane, can i start using nicinimide and vit c for acne scars?

u can go for pure niacinamide without any additives, vit c i woulnt recommend becuase vit c dries skin out, and ur skin will already be dry from acutane. keep ur skin moisturised at all times. best of luck :)

@@lakshaysharma1630 if ur talking about acne scars, usually it will fade with acutane itself, dont use any strong chemicals while ur at it, the results of acutane will be visilble in 2 or more months, be patient :), meanwhile keep ur skin hydrated and while niacinamide wont do much on its own it apparently helps even out skin tone
