This is amazing. I can relate heavily to this character bc I have ADHD and I too sometimes “feel like a useless piece of shit”. It’s not as serious at THIS and I do take some medications but the times where it really hits me, it is very frustrating. Sure, inviting them in should be the way to handle the situation, but how do you know that when you go for a towel and some clothes for them you're not gonna come back to them scampering off with some of your (possibly expensive) belongings, or you suddenly find a knife in your back as you're being busy. Or are you gonna offer help as eagerly to a barely aware drunkard as you would to a homeless girl? There are various people out there and being overly helpful may lead to you getting used and abused. Though there's also question how much of this is just my pessimism speaking.

Another professional-quality performance! And once again simple editing prowess never ceases to amaze me. Overall I loved your adlibs too. I felt guilty though, because there were so many well-delivered comedic moments that made me laugh even though the speaker is going through such a rough time! 😭 Fun Fact: The hardest part about writing this script was choosing what the snacks were going to be. I wanted them to be expensive to show the listener is spoiling the speaker but as soon as it came time to choose specific ones my mind went blank. Even google wasn't much help in this case.

Damn. This was oh so very fluffy and really put a big smile on my face listening to this. I think you captured the Tomboy character pitch perfect with her rapid, vaguely scattered-brained and just plain enjoyable dialogue. And to be honest this may be the first Yandere I've run across who's genuinely more concerned and motivated by her "beloved's" happiness than her own. Seemingly content just to watch the listener from afar until she was accidently discovered. Even being more concerned with cleaning the water she dripped on the floor than even trying to make her fantasy come true. All of which to say, I think she really earned that cuddle. :) Fantastic work!

I like how the listener here actually hears her our and responds to her with concern, and offers to help her after learning the terrible state she's in both mentally and financially. They want to help her because she's someone who needs it, and as a person who regularly needs the support of others, it's good to see a video like this where a person acknowledges they need help and tries to seek it out, albeit in an extreme way in this case. A great spin on the yandere genre and a genuinely endearing performance!

Was a longtime, no account lurker, slowly going around to all the channels and audios I really liked. And this one is one of my absolute favorites you've done. The speaker is just such a mix of adorable and pitiful... The lack of confidence, having no aim or drive, the stuttering, the saying weird things, her hyperfixation on the listener. The image of her just standing out in the rain and watching them somehow manages to be more heart wrenching than scary and concerning thanks to the way she's portrayed. I've heard the advice that, in these situations, you really aren't supposed to give stalkers an inch, but she really does give me such a twisted up feeling in my gut with how much she's struggling to keep it together...I'd probably let her in too, she's almost like a kicked puppy in a lot of ways. And I think what helps too is how much she understands her obsession isn't 'good'. That it isn't good for her, good for the listener, that some of her impulses are dangerous (like smashing the window)...Makes you really feel that she just needs that genuine help, that she isn't a 'too far gone' crazed yandere but a girl who needs support in her life. I'd like to imagine that she can get it now that, thankfully, the object of her affection seems to see that too. Work herself back into healthier habits, stabilizer her life. Who knows, maybe get her wish and have an actual relationship with the listener that's actually healthy and a bit more 'normal' once she works on herself. This is one of the most hopeful 'yandere' stories I've ever listened to, and I like it a ton. I only wish the best for the both of them!

The funny part is you seemed to anticipate every one of my reactions to hearing the character talk. Except I'd make them tea and do the cuddling thing immediately, on account of the fact that treating hypothermia requires you to remove the person's wet clothes and warm them up gradually with body heat. Actually, building a fire could potentially be dangerous as the body may go into shock if it's heated up too quickly (if I am remembering that correctly). A fun tidbit for anyone who read this.

I experience pretty much the same mental thing the character in the video does (minus the fixated attachment to others). The whole, not being able to do practically anything. Some of the lines were very relatable to me. Which I wasn't expecting! It's odd the kind of places you can see reflections. Great voice acting and ambience, by the way.

Well, let’s see. I might have a few! This is going to be long. So, technical stuff first! First, when I started, I was just recording on my phone (I’ve since been gifted a hand-me-down mic), and I found a very helpful video that let me get the best out of my audio quality: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHmXfoGBZpJ_bck The tutorial is for iphone but it’s solid advice for beginners no matter what you’re using. Second: build yourself a tiny studio. It doesn’t have to be fancy. I took a crate and filled it with some foam, stuck my phone in there on a little stack of books and boom, my audio quality went through the roof. If that’s not an option, just find your thickest blanket and record under there in a quiet room. It cuts down on background noise and reverb, which makes editing much easier and makes your audio sound better. Third: Get a pop filter if you can-even just putting some cloth in front of the mic helps-and don’t speak too close to the mic. That will cut down on weird mouth sounds and other issues so you’ll have to do less editing. Fourth: learn Audacity, and how to improve your post-production sound. Here’s the tutorial that taught me how to improve my audio quality quick and easy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moKmc2poiJtngpY Less technical stuff: Enunciate! Emote! And edit! That will put you SO far ahead of the pack. And finally, believe in yourself! It’s scary trying a new thing! But you can do it! Break a leg!
