Pain bodies love to feed of emotional triggers... that's how they feel empowered. Ego's sense of self feels better when fed by drama. The goal is to disconnect the trigger that feeds the Pain body by recognising it's only a thought form with a story and emotional baggage behind it..

It helped me to get rid of triggers by rewriting the stories behind them, for example meditating on replacement stories. For example, imagining a totally happy childhood without any negative parts that used to suck your energy, or reenacting certain events between me and my TF so that it has a happy end rather than what it really was.

Your explanation and insight on this particular issue has been such a gift. I was struggling to understand why we went from “euphoric” (far beyond chemistry, lust, excitement, etc.) A truly harmonious connection unlike anything I’ve experienced... to constantly “triggering” each other. Both of saying to the other, “What is going on?! Why can’t we seem to communicate without one of us getting pissed off or offended?! This isn’t us!” Moments of questioning our relationship. It’s been painful & confusing. (Not toxic or ugly fighting...just triggered and frustrated and feeling misunderstood)

My twin triggered me a mere MOMENT after we first met!!! Then I triggered him for triggering me. 😂 Then he couldn't get a rise out of me while we were in the same room... I think I "ran" in my head. And then he literally ran.

I was definitely triggered but didn't understand why I was experiencing so much pain via my twin. When this person, I consider my twin, would do certain things or say things in a particular tone it triggered me some terrible. I thought he was trying to willfully hurt me! Now I know it was about me and about my spiritual growth! I'm so much better for it. Thanks to my twin.

Oh boy does the TF connection bring out those triggers! They come out like crazy. Both ones I know of and those I didn’t even knew I had. Pure torture. But having the awareness of what and why they’re happening has been beneficial for me in handling them. I ride the wave and don’t take them personally . Up and out.

Mel, you are the bomb....I mean really. You are so nice to come forward and walk the walk, instead of "talk the talk". I applaud you. I have zero patience, or tolerance, compared to you. I have had a couple of days of being really PO'd over this twin flame connection that I'm really over. I have a really powerful spiritual "team" who get really quiet when I start verbalizing my "firey" side. I know who my twin flame is....he, totally, pi$$es me off. It infuriates me when someone says....well, you're his "lifeline". And I go to my peeps and ask that the connection be severed...they get really quiet...then YOU pop up on my phone "feed" today....go figure. Yes, you helped me today. Thank God, he triggers me....because I finally came to the place that I would NEVER allow another "HUMAN" treat me like a 4th class citizen. AND....I am so happy that, though he is my "twin flame"...I don't have to "allow" him back into my life. He has "triggered" me beyond belief....I would have never, ever let anybody treat me that way. I would have gotten in their face and told them to "get in line". Thank you from the bottom of my heart. When these 3D "mass" mentalities get with the program....it will get a whole lot easier. I am so OVER people who don't GET IT!!! I know...I'm not being tolerant...whateva!!! LOL

Thank you Mel, this makes so much sense! I believe I have a TF and from the get go we triggered each other like no tomorrow, that was in 2012. Thought I dealt with it, even though we're not together! Then married a guy who I thought was a soul mate, he ended up having covert NPD his whole family actually suffer from different forms of it....which I didn't recognise. That triggered me even more, right to the core of my childhood trauma and brought up all the abuse/hurt I had suffered. I have what my GP says is C-PTSD now, but I know it is to help to get to the core of the deep wounds *I* need to heal and understand. The core issues, which runs in both sides of my family, is helping others who are ungrateful and abuse you after. There are no boundaries which forms codependancy, and the blame game. My way of dealing with it before was ignoring how upset I really was and pushing the feeling down. Only for it to return and make me erupt and lash out when it built up. I am learning to acknowledge my feelings at the time it happens (being in the moment), recognise the conciousness of the other individual, and only engaging if I feel the person can be constructive. If they can't, I don't beat myself up over it, I recognise my feelings, and the situation, then let go. I am doing exactly what Mel has been saying, which is tracking and going back in the past recognising the triggers, feeling all the emotions and letting go. This has reduced my C-PTSD a lot, which I know means I am healing those wounds which are so deeply embedded. Thank you for bringing this subject up, it's so apt for what I'm sure I and many others are going through. Much love to you and Nicole x

Even before my Awakening I never wanted to be in Facebook. I always thought it was for fake people looking for positive or negative attention. If you're looking for attention outside of yourself you're in constant need of something you don't have. I think our society is very weak and not great at dealing with their emotions. I'm so blessed for the gifts that I've received. Thanks Mel for your incredible work on explaining this process.

As bad as i want to throw my hands up and leave, i won't. That's the easy thing to do. I knew going into our relationship would be work. Hi Mel! OMG! This was so timely! I triggered my Twin several weeks ago and I had to step totally away out of honoring and respecting myself: lots of anger and harsh comments made towards me. I was able to dispassionately monitor myself but finally it got too much and I did burst into tears. That is how my being triggered showed up. She recounted things that were totally different from how she described things in the “bubble gum” phase. (Sticky and stretchy, only removed by peanut butter😉). Anywho, your explaining about descending from the heart to the solar plexus thus creating the soil for the triggers, made so much sense. This event was viewed through her present awareness through a different location and lens. It was as if that first part (bubble love) had been mind wiped from her consciousness and then rewritten through the lower chakras!!! What she did “remember” was not good! I felt like the beginning nice part of our being together was completely photo shopped out of her movie, extraordinary physical intimacy and all. Trust me, my ego was bleeding like crazy. This push-pull has been going on for six years and what a wild ride earmarked to fast track my soul’s evolution it has been! Such gratitude for that and you... Thank you Mel for all that you do! You have so helped me navigate this for years!❤️

I've backed away from making comments especially comments on other TF channels because even though I am making generalized statements, I can trigger some extreme reactions from some folks who will take my comments as a personal attack on their belief system. It's not my job to rain on anyone's parade. Awakening is an individual process and they will either wake up on their own or they won't. The best you or I or anyone can do is provide our own insights on this process so that others might benefit. I'm certainly not perfect, certainly not serene, and certainly no guru. I will admit you did trigger me on this one, Mel. I did get a little pissed. Thank you.

Great topic, Mel! Thanks for bringing it up! Such a fundamental concept - recognizing your triggers is just an easy way to recognize all that needs attention and transmutation. The following quote has helped me on my journey - by Briant McGill: "The more something upsets you, the more it is meant for you. When it no longer upsets you, it is no longer needed, because the lesson is complete".

Tell me about it, i used to be in them and when i posted questions some people had the audacity to say "He's not your Twin Flame" 🤨 So are you telling me that all this synchronicities, signs, telepathy, 5D connection. Soul recognition on the 3D and so on was all my imagination? Everyone's journey is different so people won't relate with most of the things we say. I got out of them too, in fact, i don't even have Facebook anymore. 😂

Since i met my tf 3 yrs ago he has been triggering my fear of abandonment and feelings of inadequacy. No matter if we're together or apart. I tried meditation, forgiving my mom, therapy, connecting to my inner feminine energy, surrender, moving on from the tf connection, healing rituals, nature walks, running far away... Everything you can think of but it's still there. I'm at a loss now as how to work through this trigger and balance my energies.
@Cinder1987

Lenore The Oracle Maybe it’s not meant to be balanced yet. I am in the same sort of sentiment as you. These energies are still with me even after years of doing the similar work to what you’ve done. Maybe we should just accept it’s part of us and not always try to relieve the pain or try to balance it all. Just letting it be may relinquish control it has over us. If it’s meant to be balanced it will happen maybe even without us even trying so hard as we have been. I’ve let go and giving a break doing all the work and the figuring out what to do about it for now. Peace to you.

@@Cinder1987 yes, i think you're right! Actually today i just let it all be what it is and I'm feeling happier. The thing is that it seems to be a constant up/down of energies so i believe "surrender" is only temporary since it's near impossible to master at all times.

Lol I love your sense of humor 😂 I'm the same way loving to joke around. I'm beginning to feel something is from my twin/soulmate/my best friend. I want to be in love with someone. Yet I'll cause something to happen to screw it up. Or just run because I'm scared to get hurt. I've been working on it through therapy, talking with others and building relationships that are close in nature but not sexual. I'm listening to my intuition and it has saved me from bad relationships now. I still get nervous when I know I like someone as other than a friend. There's a good friend of mine who wants to be with me...yet I'm still scared stiff. I'll live lol❤️🌈🦋🐞🦉🌹

You’re right, so much focus is put on sexual intimacy which, yes, does hold a place in the whole equation BUT I believe is often being used as an obsession and/or escape to keep from dealing with the deeper more important issues that are shuffled under the rug. Btw, I got rid of fb years back. One big stressful drama place. Still hearing about friends and family that have silly dramas on there. Happy to not be part of any of it. :)

My twin flame completely ignores me, to the point he doesn't seem to know what the hell I'm talking about. So I guess it's from childhood, feeling ignored or feeling like I can't be my true self. But when I get triggered, sometimes I want to yell, scream and fight or I want to cry. Are there healthier ways of releasing emotions without going on a mental tantrum with my twin flame? There must be, right cause I'm sure it's damaging the relationship.

THANK YOU Mel for your comments @24 mins. I have had this happen my whole life to the point to where i wonder about my communication skills. And this is not about ego where I have to be right all the time. It's about saying something "normal" and then being taken to task over it. With one particular person who is always doing this, I have tried "calling her on it" meaning turning what I call "the attack" around and saying "Oh what makes you think I meant that?" Then she always backs down except that the pattern continues and I can never get beyond this. Is communication part of the issue? Does this "egoic" communication also cause what you called the "mental trigger" b/c I have that at times. Also your comments about the endocrine system are spot on. As a child, I would get terrible solar plexus pains when kids would tease me and I wonder if that manifested into the thyroid problem I had as a teen and now as an adult. My twin does not really trigger me at all - I have enough soul mates around me for that. Thanks for another great video.

Triggers - some examples? Would experiencing inferiority complex be a trigger? Would acts of omission of my partner, e.g. lack of care or indifference be triggers? My trigger with my twin flame was he wanted to see other people. He trigger me 3 times with this. I couldn't understand it all I want to do was be with him and only him. So I am separate right now this my twin because I had to find my self-worth. It hurt because I really didn't want to be apart from him. I got attach. It became toxic. So we have been separate for 8 months in August. Then End of July I finally got a text message from him. Even though I was separate from him I was still thinking about him. Right now it's just open communication because I know I am still healing and taking time for myself to recover.

I am not active in groups, even in my own one :) Reason is, I enjoy exchange that is contributing to growth, and most of the questions, answers and messages were making me feel as if I talk with someone who just tries to prove me his point, nothing else. It is completely ok, we all are there where we are supposed to be on our journey, but it did not resonate with me, in my heart I felt strong urge to fold from this. So I did. I decided to focus on myself, and it feels great. Even the triggers...last one that got active was injustice and lack of respect for my efforts. After I went through them, I clearly saw that they were just my belief systems coming from asuming things. Again I got reminded that clear communication is the key, simply say what you feel without expecting someone to be as you are.

Pretty good timing I must say, just had a round of triggering today from the twin (bless her soul). Probably will be in no contact for at least 6 months this time around, since the time in between contact seems to increase every time this happens. But, if we can both learn something and get ourselves in a good direction during it, then fine.

meg is intellectual and i noticed other teachers watch his videos them break down the message to basic language for their audience. ..meg is some kind of guru. but he is unaware of it... so he does become critical sometimes. i noticed that my level is on match with megs current topics. i notice from my experience i can share experiences meg talks about

Well I guess he is quite aware of being a mentor or spiritual teacher. But he is down-to-earth enough not to play the guru-game in a manipulative sense. He is just giving his life experience to the younger, what is the most natural "job" of a person of his age.

I think alot of what you are saying to sounds similar to what I feel about people in general and that is we mirror each other regardless of twin or soulmate .

So how are you actually healing if a situation is triggering you to where you feel wiped out isn't that like constantly scraping a scab off of you how do you ever really heal from it

james goodman you heal by going within, meditating and connecting with the essence of love that has been inside of you all along. Sending you love and light 🙌🏻💖🌟

You have to take yourself back to when you were a child and try to think of when this feeling or trigger first ever arose in you.. That's how you identify it , then you heal your inner child who had that first experience. Through meditation this will work. x Goodluck
