As a videographer, I can say you do a great job. Shooting is the easy part, editing is the most time consuming part and if you don’t do it right, the videos won’t flow and will be boring. You are better then you probably give yourself credit for. Love your journey!!

I admire you’re courage and adventurous spirit to live a van life. I couldn’t imagine doing that because I’m so use to living the way I do, but living in one place limits what you can do. My imagination takes me to wherever I want to go, but I hope one day soon to travel. The last time I went on holiday was 2014, when I visited Brittany with my family, driving there from London U.K., via the channel tunnel. :)

Ame. Seriously, my heartfelt suggestion is to contact van accessories manufacturers directly showing them your completely authentic vids and let them PAY YOU to demonstrate or endorse their products. No long term contracts. Short term specific product selling if you like the product yourself. You are incredibly watchable and I am sure would be a gold mine asset to any manufacturer or supplier in the Van aftermarket. You can make serious money because YOU are both serious and amazingly charismatic. At least think about turning your excellent vids into a career. One day you will think about retirement (yes, it happens to all of us eventually) and earning and as importantly, saving will help you in the long run. Hope you give serious thought to this and please accept my very best wishes for your future. ROD UK

Unfortunately it is proven that the way the world is going nobody in my generation and younger, I am 38 btw, will not be able to retire due to the high cost of living and it's not getting any better. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Capitalism, it always ends of in a dictatorship of the rich, and what I mean by that is capitalism allows the rich to invest and make more of of their money cause it takes money to make it and if you don't have it or very little then it's saved for bills and such. Having lots of money allows for bad investments to not kill your finances and the odds are in their favor. Just pointing out that first off the American Dream was over a long time ago and honestly being able to move around is going to be a good advantage in the near future, I want to buy a sail boat and fix one up.

I'm glad you address what you do when you 💩 sh$t because it is a real necessity and concern in a van. Most Van Life people on YT don't address that. They may say what they do when they pee but 💩 is a whole more involved issue. Question when you do it in a bag do you just toss the 💩in the trash can in the van then throw it out later in a public trash can or do you find a public toilet later and throw the 💩in the toilet and flush it? Or do you just throw the 💩outside near the van maybe on the dirt or weeds?

I bought land in the 70s paid it off in the 80s It was beautiful pine trees and a natural spring. I spent 7 years in the Army and got out and returned and built a cabin and totally loved the life style, living on the road would be so much different I respect that you can do it. I started working at a young age and consequently missed out on a lot. I'm not sorry that life took me in the direction it did but I wish I'd been more of a free spirit in my youth. i lived on the road just out of a backpack for a time in the 70s and embraced the minimalist lifestyle but time changes everything and I could no longer do that now and your van life is much more glamorous than mine was. LOL I did things that I wouldn't even dream of doing now and so it's really fun to watch your channel, Ame! Sometimes I worry about your safety but, other than that, your videos take me back to a time when I was a minimalist, happy and led a very different life than today. Hi Ame Camera tip for windy days, take a short bungee cord and a tent peg. Pop the peg in the ground and loop the cord round it and the centre of the tripod. If there is nowhere to put the peg then if you have a net bag you can pop some stones in and suspend it from the centre of the tripod. This lowers the centre of gravity and makes it heavier both of which reduce the risk of blowing over. An alternative to the stones and net bag is a water bladder.

I'm not sure how much of this has to do with the privilege you must have grown up with by being blessed with such great genes or personal growth through difficult times. You wear little makeup and don't flaunt your sexuality (like so many other girls who live in a van or bus). You don't pose in your most flattering position. You are not afraid to show your flaws. Very Interesting life style. Ever think about boat life in the future? I watch many sailing channels, anchoring is free, head (toilet) on board, most sailing folks are helpful and kind unlike most motorists, more room in a boat, free food if you fish and catch crab. More freedom to sail the 🌎. Some captains will allow you to join their crew in the beginning to learn the ropes. Oh I forgot to mention wind 🌬️ is free vs gas ⛽.

Ame, I love your open honesty though I dislike swearing which (to me) is kind of cheap and a poor excuse for good conversation. Otherwise you have buckets of style! I love your van kitchen dramas and your anger when Gigi rolls in U know what. Dogs will roll in anything and eat almost anything.
