This reminds me of construction workers putting up a sign saying “beware of the bump” instead of actually fixing the bump. Terrible offers are the bump in the road. If DD could ensure that only fair paying and reasonable offers were sent to the drivers, none of these band-aid like programs would be necessary. As a driver you feel as if DD is always trying to pull a fast one, and these programs represent that.

The rewards system was severely oversaturated as it was. This potentially will only create even more problems to the point where you won't even see the actual high paying offers that much. I've already been saying w/ the rewards program that the only dashers who are truly prioritized are the new dashers and possibly the dashers who haven't dashed in a long time as they get treated like they were new dashers too.

I am a Platinum dasher in Pensacola Florida, so I am supposed to be able to schedule six days at 3pm. I went on at exactly 3 pm and all the available time was gone! This in a matter of seconds. So, for me to dash I have to wait till area is busy and go on for an hour. Then it kicks me off and if still busy I can go back on for another hour. I want you to tell me where the rewards come in. I used to be able to dash anytime, but they did away with it. That was the only advantage to being a platinum dasher I got out of it.

I think the reason why the customer rating only rewards you up to 10 points is because Doordash knows that customers often lie about the service they receive from most drivers. Just my theory though.

I was thinking why that might be the case as well. I'm thinking they want the logistics done FIRST so completing your offers and completing them on time. If those are solid the ratings should follow given a standard of service.

It's possible this will create the same problem the rewards system did when it 1st rolled out. That problem being that out of the three teirs only one of them ends up mattering, being platinum. It will likely be so oversaturated that the only way you can schedule is if you are platinum but even then the orders will be too thinned out.

I dash in California where AR is 80% for platinum. Glad DD is changing the tier program with the points weighted more to completion rate and on time rate. I take too many non tip orders to stay at platinum and rarely get a high pay order. Glad I’ll be able to stay at platinum with a much lower acceptance rate.

They will lower your on time rating to get drivers to need to accept more orders to get the points they need. Started an order with platinum and 97 on time ended order and was dropped to gold with a 91 on time. Everyone telling me I need to up my ar and avoiding trying to talk why my on time dropped suddenly

So these updates are never ending and they come faster and faster each year. I’ve never seen an update that was beneficial to the Driver or the customer. It always benefits the corporation so I can’t imagine this update being a different the only thing I question is why is this huge update happening so soon after the last huge update just a month or two ago it has to be one of two reasons one being they are yet again tweaking the app to try to trick everybody to taking two and three and four dollar orders OR Is this something absolutely knew from DoorDash and are they changing the app and benefit of the Driver’s or the Customer’s? I doubt it.

I like that, yes if we need to mark why it's being cancelled something like store has technical issues; store did not receive offer; store closed etc it should not affect CR. DD DOES allow you to unassigned without CR penalty in some scenarios and it will say that in your pick up screen.

For me i was platinum went on a 10 day vacation and in those 10 days went under 100 rolling deliveries lost plat and went to silver and then I could never get enough schedule/ time to get back over 100 deliveries because it only gave me 30 mins dash nows when busy and then schedule is always booked up unless its at 3-6am when everything is closed here

Let people schedule for more than 30 minutes and make being platinum worth it. All orders i get on EBT should be 3$ tip or higher. Also EBT should apply to when you are waiting in a hotspot.

My on time has been stuck at %92 for 2 years now it has never moved and I'm a full time dasher. Stores here are the worst when it comes to giving me the order during the window they put in sometimes I'm waiting like 15 minutes for the order. I have to becarefull with shop and pays now as those can get me into trouble with the long lines and hard to find small items. So is this rolling does that mean I can take a month off dortdash come back and still have platinum.

You will only need need 50 lifetime deliveries, not 100 in 30 days. The rolling 100 will still be in affect for the rest of the metrics. AR, CR, and On time/early. But again you will not need to maintain 100 deliveries, within 30 days. So in effect, not dashing for a month, would not drop you out of Platinum. So as long as your other stats were high when you last delivered, and you've had at least 50 lifetime deliveries. You should be good.

I just hope they get more strict with the main rating and dont let trash people bring you down but now I'm glad that I don't need to focus on my AR as much anymore and I can go back to multi apping like I used to i made more money lke that.

@@albertgutierrez7036 Did you know you can cancel any order after 10 mins, even if the app doesn't ask you, which it does sometimes? To do this hit the question mark in upper right part of your order screen. Select I have a problem or Store has a problem. Then select Long Wait time. The second option needs to say that you can unassign without penalty. If it doesn't wait a little longer. But It usually works from 10 mins after you hit arrived. This keeps me a 100% completion. So unless its a high paying PLUS (catering) order. I usually unassign as soon as I can when using EPO. Also I mark "arrived at restaurant " as soon as app lets me when close to store. Can shave a mins or so off your waiting to cancel. Now on EBT, I never cancel as I am always being paid to wait.

I am betting the higher your numbers the better your orders may be. Sure you will still get some crap, but with higher dollar orders scattered in. I have been playing around with EBT, and when below 70% I do not get as good as I do when above 70%. Also seems EBT is still able to get many catering/large orders. Although I only see the catering orders if above 70% and they become even more frequent after 80% AR. Seems it also has to do with how customer rated you. A customer that gave you a 5 star rating, will often be a repeat customer for you. For me about 60% of my customers are regulars, and all tip fairly well.

I have been doing it for about a month now, on and off. I still see my regular customers which is prob 60% of my deliveries, and they usually tip well. So instead of the $2 base pay on Earn per offer, I make min $5 base pay up to $14 base pay avg, plus tip makes it better. If you are Platinum and do EBT you will see catering/large orders, although DD may cap that at $30 customer tip to you. Earn per offer will get orders over the 30$ tip threshold. But tips over $30 are rare, so doing EBT seems to make me $5 to $10 more per hr, depending time of day, and when you use it. I do EBT during the day until dinner shift. At dinner shift I do EBT from 4 pm to 7:30 pm and then switch to Earn per offer. The reason I do EBT at beginning of dinner rush, is this is the time you will most likely be waiting for order to be ready. You are being paid to wait, unlike Earn per offer, where you are waiting, and base pay isn't gonna go up. Example based on $16 per "ACTIVE HR". This is from accept to delivery. Earn by offer order $2 base pay, plus $10 tip, is gonna pay you $12, no matter how long it takes you. Same order on Earn by time, and takes 30 mins to complete, So $8 base pay plus $10 tip is $18. If order takes and hr to complete add another $8. So $26 for that order. There is a time and place to do EBT or EPO, but probably much less stress doing EBT.

I received the email and I was supposed to get this but it isn’t being reflected in my app! I should be platinum with the new system but I am nothing still. Area is Syracuse, NY. Anybody else have any issues? It’s more than just a visual issue in the ratings tab because I received hidden tip orders with no + sign. I did do pretty decently so I suppose the order selection for me could have been platinum based but I’m just not seeing anything about it on my end; no updated rating screen and no platinum banners/+ sign on offer screens. Anybody have a similar issue? 🤔

Yeah, completion rate. But they are changing it to reflect on your past 100 deliveries. Before it was calculated by how many mins you were late, and why you do not see it move much , if ever. Mine was 96% for few yrs and 2 weeks ago it went to 95%. At one point 3 yrs ago it gave me decimal ratings, like 97.276453% lol But like I mentioned it will be for your last 100 deliveries. So if late on say 2 deliveries, your will be at 98% until the rolling 100 happens.

Correct. Dasher B should get 0 points for the top row and both are wrong in the points per percentage for the last row. If corrected Dasher A would have 80 and Dasher B should have 74.

Hey Mike do people realize that you fate is in the hands of the customer we can control our acceptance rate we can control a completion rate and we can control our on-time rate, but we do not control our overall customer reading so if you have 80 points and you get free customers or four customers having a bad day because you forgot the drawers or the restaurant did impact your order right or there’s no napkins in the bag customers can give you a bad rating and that will drop your acceptance rate so I don’t know if I like this because at some point, the customers have a hold on this

They need to do away with the whole scheduling. Wouldn't they just want more drivers to fulfill orders? Why have dashes, just make the entire shift a dash. Rewards maybe to just determine quality offers, but never to restrict someone from just going online. Who's bright idea was to have drivers set up "dashes" anyway? Just go online and offline at anytime by default and always. Having a scheduling feature goes against the whole point of having more drivers online at the same time. More drivers mean more to fulfill. So why would they deny drivers from selectively choosing to go online. Also, Doordash needs to get rid of trash businesses from their platform. Only put quality merchants that will bring quality customers. Get rid of the Taco Bells, Burger Kings, Popeyes, basically all fast food. Only put high quality merchants so we no longer have low quality trash customers. Make Doordash a true luxury service.

Sorry you feel that way, I try to present as if I were teaching as I really am teaching this not only to myself since it's new but to viewers. Repetition and emphasis are necessary when making points. I include video chapters in all videos and actually trim down the duration after streaming to make the video shorter not longer.
