I needed to hear this today! Lately, I’ve been feeling like I need to be interesting/ almost perform in front of my friends to prove them that I’m worth hanging around. This isn’t a reflection of them. They’ve been nothing but kind. I think this is a personal issue I need to work on. But the times that I’ve truly shown interest in other people is when I actually make friends. Thank you for reminding me of this. ❤

I think people just asking kind and curious questions helps me 🙂🥰 Also validating how much something or a certain topic means to.. Me. Including being very receptive to everything I'm bringing to the table and, not listening to respond but actually listening with the intent..... To understand me more, that means everything to me 😘😊💗 I'm a Autistic person and those kind of positive experiences whenever I've.. Advocated about myself my lived- in daily experiences, at the end of the day they always stick with me : ) Because I don't open up..... Easily especially with raw vulnerability, seperately to advocacy but when I'm experiencing something distressing.. Opening up and actively showcasing that vulnerability has always been my biggest hurdle ❤💜

Can we get a podcast?! :) You guys are amazing to listen to! Even if you twi would go off point and just talk about your lives. I'd love that!! 😍 (Only maybe in a bit less of a spacious room? Because of the audio echo)

Yes exactly. If you do not give love and compassion to someone, you’re not going to build trust and you won’t get someone to tell you personal details! ETA: Big fan of the use of movies to talk about real relationship issues!

I have always been drawn more to the outcasts than to the popular crowd. I consider myself an outcast, and finally realize that it's a choice as well as a point of pride. The "cool kids" frequently approach me with a desire to be friends, and I always accept them even if they're not outcast; I think this approach helps me understand that, popular or not, each of us is a human being and deserves to be considered based on our own merits--or lack therof. A coworker recently pointed out that "everyone brings something to the table," which is a very empowering perspective and one of the reasons I love working with this company! This mindset has been my passage into acceptance among the "cool kids," and a means to help others consider each person as an individual rather than a category.

I've noticed that the concept of unconditional love has been mentioned several times on this channel, but I'm still not sure I understand what it means. Is there a video that goes more in depth on this topic?

How can I be more interested? I find it hard to connect with people I do not already have a deep connection with. Lately, I noticed it's probably because I am not interested enough, altought I really want to be. But as soon as somebody talks more about a topic that's important to them but has no connection to something I know and care about, I get so easily distracted and notice I would not be able to summarize what I just heard because I already forgot all the details, while I also can't think about something to ask to get the conversation going. As you mentioned (regarding explanations about videogames), I often feel like I should ask the person to tell me more about it, but actually I don't know if I can take more detailed info. That sounds kind of self-centered. It's not that I don't want to talk about other people's concerns, but at the time I just find it so hard to follow. How can I work on that?

It has tickled me somewhat that you're running the Thrive summit the same week as the Thrive conference about mental health in k1nk! For a minute I thought you were talking at the Thrive I'm going to! lol!

Trying to figure out if Alicia was being sincere or sarcastic when she said "i love Stoicism" - our family is working collaboratively on creating a couple of different resources that bring ancient Stoicism practices into forms that elementary aged children and older can engage in, and I'd love to have your collaboration on that if the expression was sincere instead of sarcastic. I'm pulling in more collaborators through the Mighty space maintained by the Stoic Fellowship if anyone wants to connect.

I'm listening on my headphones, and the voices are coming from the wrong side...? 🤔 Just some feedback to your audio person/process :) Would be better to make it mono, I think
