I had a few issues down there. I was embarrassed to ask my doctor.. but I solved all issues by trimming all the hair off with an electric hair trimmer. I had literally a ball of hair over the anus causing moisture from sweat and it started getting irritated. After shaving I immediately felt relief, it could finally breathe, I was able to make sure it was 100% clean and 100% dry. After shaving all the hair off, it was able to heal. Now after the rest room I’m able to wipe and clean it well. I don’t think women have this issue, but for hairy guys like myself, hair grows and grows, and it traps a lot of moisture and bacteria. Guys.. if you are having an issue, shave off all the hair.

Thank you once again Dr. I've had 2 days 16:22 any creams and everything is okay for now, or at least feels okay and it's good to have a break. I find that Desitin helps me the most along with another starting with a "G"/can't spell it.🎉Think they both have Zinz Oxide. Seems like it's taken so long to find what helps, also has drained me of any extra funds, but that's okay if I feel better in the long run. Thanks so so much for your help and support. I did use Pranicura cream, but it was just okay. But it didn't improve much, plus it was way too expensive to be classified as a serious cream. I'm currently using a UK product called Anacare Natural Cream, at £10 which is much better, I'm finding, but still early days.

Just had my thd surgery 5 days ago here in sweden. Its so much easier to recover from and i basically only feel one of the stiches on my type3. Its still quite painful bit a lot less than the normal procedure.

I do because its thicker than coconut oil. I use make-up oval pads purchased off of Amazon and put about a dime sized amount in the middle of the pad and place it on my anus. My fissure was towards the back of my anus so i put the pad slightly back not covering the anus all the way. It helped pain, swelling, and has made life easier when I had issues after my abscess was draining.

A&D ointment like my mother used on me there 70 years ago, is what I use mostly if irritated. Had a bout o anal itching decades ago and Noxema cream cured it quick. Camphor, menthol and eucalyptus oil provide a cooling sensation and help with the itch.. I occasionally get candida infections below the belt. Recently couldn't shower for 3 days and developed and burning itch on my bottom end. Didn't diagnose it specifically as candida but treated it with tolnaftate antifungal cream and it cleared in 3 days. The are many other more powerful antifungal creams but they can be harder on the skin and cause exfoliation. Tolnaftate was recommended by a dermatologist because it is less irritating than some more powerful antifungal like butenafine and terbinafine. Some sources recommend clotrimazole cream for candidiasis.
