To the "Abends schaue ich gern" phenomenon of "schaue ich" (verb, subject) instead of "ich schaue" (subject, verb), there exists a similar thing in English, when you say: "Seldom do I watch TV", "Never have I done this before", "Rarely does she come on time". In Germany you use it way more often.

This sounds overly complicated. Can't you just give them a rule of thumb: Stick the adverb close to the conjugated verb but always keep the subject as close or closer! In the relative clause the conjugated verb stands at the end of the sentence. So you must stick the adverb in front of the verb. A question starts with the conjugated verb and is followed by the the subject. Thus, the conjugated verb must follow the subject. This works most of the time and I don't think "Ich esse gerne morgens Brot" is grammatically wrong. Nor is "Ich helfe gerne Dir" wrong, just a little awkward or unusual.

Hallo! Thank you for the amazing videos!! I have a question, if I want to emphasize a word should I bring it to the end or begining of the sentence? I noticed we move it to the end in negation mode, Is that an exception? Do we usually move the words we want to highlight to the begining?
