Good thing is that Both Naver Maps and Kakao Maps have English UI, although some names are displayed in Korean (hangul), which I can read. I also suggest Apple Maps (iOS only), Amap (Chinese only, +86 number required for full functionality), Baidu Maps (Chinese only, precise data for South Korea), Bing Maps (Web only), and Petal Maps

@@yourkoreafriend Thank you for the new video. I have just watched it and used the Naver map app to search for restaurant's close to where i am staying. Its not too difficult to navigate after your advice. Using the subway part of the app will be a life saver for me when im there! 😀

I came to this same conclusion while testing out naver and kakao map. Google the location and save all the places you want to go. then paste them into kakao or naver. both apps were not very english friendly and I had a tough time navigating in them. worst of all they both ask for so many unnecessary permissions to just get going. I couldn't figure out (all in korean) how to avoid this and only give location data.

last year one day there was fire in data centre of Kakao Map and I got lost in Seoul. Then one person recommended Naver maps and Then I returned to my Hotel

Hi, this is another video with music..... Why are you adding music???? Thank you for this video but can you PLEASE remove the music?? It makes it difficult to hear your voice.
