Hey Coach D. Love your channel and helped me so much. I have used your program to win a championship and be in 3 straight. Just picked up the clipboard for the Fall and ready to go. Here are some lessons I learned maybe you can comment. In i9 Flag, we play teams a few times. I find that I need to change up the wristbands. I got lazy and didn't create different inserts at the championship and they saw the plays coming. So don't think its one and done coaches. 😀 Thats the next level is making adjustments. Coach, you’ve got this thing down and I appreciate you always bringing great insights! Yep. I’ve seen that before. That’s honestly why I created the play builder so I could quickly make some adjustments as needed then prep my updated wristbands in a flash so they didn’t know what was coming, and so we always had our best plays available. I don’t want coaches to think they always need to be switching. Make solid decisions and if you are not playing the same teams repeatedly, you can likely stay with the same set of plays. Just don’t want “identity crisis” or indecision distracting you. If you (coaches) do need to make adjustments, feel free to reach out, and I’ll share some best practices. Again, thx for always bringing 🔥 to these comments!

@@CoachD Thanks buddy. In i9 if you had a team that was together they put you in a different division that was a small number of teams. Even in a 6 team league you will see each other at least once. And that team was a super team; all kids lived in the same neighborhood and practiced all the time. We played them 4 times I believe it was including the championship. Our kids did great. We did win the one before, but the championship you gotta bring a few new tricks.

Thanks for the advice Coach. I try to run around 10 plays, and I got wristbands for my players and one for myself (also got a laminated Play Calling Sheet for myself) I run the same plays, but I’ll make adjustments to those plays. Like I’d call the same play, but send a receiver on a fly instead of the original drag route

Yep, that makes sense. I like seeing you being able to make the adjustments out there on the field. I like to build out my common adjustments and situations, so I can run them repeatedly in practice, then we just go to that play and execute. Sounds like it's working out there for you and I'm glad to see you using the wristbands - good call. Thx for the comment, coach and sorry it took me FOREVER to respond! Get some.

@@CoachD team is 2-1. We’ve got a game Sunday morning. Won the first 2 and then lost our last game. Combination of players being out, and “questionable” officiating led to the loss. You never want to loose, but at the same time, a lose can often be a good thing. It’s a humbling experience and shows you what really need to be improved on

Coach do you offer playbooks without a center our league does not have a center

I offer 5v5, 6v6, and 7v7 playbooks. They have a center but you can easily just change the center into a WR as they already have a built in route. Super easy and I have other coaches doing it with success. Check out the options here: linktr.ee/flagfootballwithcoachd

COACH D!! my man. I ordered a package from ya. I was surprised with being head coach instead helping being an Asst. Coach, I gotta run this YMCA flag football group by myself because they was short staff on coaches. So instead of being a back coach, im lead role. I just ordered one of your coaching packages. They don't show the shipping. Please tell me If you can have this package I ordered within a week. I know baseball as coach but football, I need this "basic coaches package soon" how long does it take to get it. I start in like 1 week. I can make it through watching your videos. But I need this package soon. How long is shipping? They don't specifically say the shipping dates. I wanna make sure I'm prepared to train this kids. I'm excited to be a coach but was not expecting to the head coach over helping another coach. I'm ready to tackle this assignment but I need your help and I need this "coach D" package pretty quick.
