Timothy, off topic question that's got me frustrated and I thought you might be able to help me figure it out. After I take off with my Mavic (manual takeoff) the Mavic will start climbing on its own very slowly as if doing an auto precision takeoff. It climbs to 25-30 feet and then goes into auto landing and slowly comes back down. I lose all up or down stick control but I can pitch in any direction or yaw. Cancel or pause do nothing but flicking it into sport mode and back quickly usually stops it for a second or two. It then will let me fly for a second and may or may not do it again!!?? What could be causing this? It did it a few times before the forced update so I know it wasn't that doing it. Am I in or near a unknown NFZ or something? This is making me nervous to fly it any distance away from me because I never know when it's going to auto land!! ANY IDEAS BRO? Nice gear you've got!! I'm slowly but surely getting some good stuff together.

N'th DEGREE DRONE do a calibration on everything. The compass, the IMU and the controller joysticks. Maybe that could help.

Once I unpack from my luggage, I mostly use the Polar Pro Drone Trekker backpack. I added some extra storage compartments to it and it's fully customizable to fit whatever I need in it for a particular shoot. bit.ly/2tLVIzI

That articulating arm SUCKS!!!!!! It came undone and BROKE MY ATOMOS ASSASSIN!!!! Never, ever, ever, ever put anything of value in one of those cheap arms. It's definitely best to spend the extra money on a name brand. I should have known better to put over $1k on a $10 arm... 😑😥😣
