I have the Fifine mixer. I can barely hear the music playing on KZbin even after turning the volume all the way up on both my AV amp and the Fifine mixer. The mic volume is working fine.

thanks for sharing. I received this Sound host system today and unable to connect to the TV via blue tooth(unable to find it under search). Samsung Smart TV with no white and red audio in/output, only rely on HDMI. Currently Karaoke box to TV via HDMI, JBL Sound box via blue tooth to TV. I had to get the wired microphone to connect to the JBL sound box to get it work. TV doesn't have AUX in/output neither...... Any suggestions?

My TV is not Smart tv , but I have chromecast connected to my home theater receiver , but the issue is Google chromecast is HDMI and and I also have a mixer and a wirless microphone. For some reason I can't get audio from microphone, because chromecast is coming from the HDMi. Can do a setup for this scenario.

Thank you so much for this video. You helped me with a christmas gift idea. I did the same set up but the smart tv only has optic, not rca, so I used an optic to rca converter to wire the optic tv line to the mixer. So tv->optic line->to converter -> to rca line hooked up to mixer.

Love your simple setup -- I too want to use KZbin on my SmartTV, controlled by iPhone. Can you recommend a quality and elegant-looking single-box stereo speaker system in the $200-500 price range? Ideally something with a similar look, footprint and sound quality of a Sonos Play 5 (however I'm not sure if that would work for Karaoke?). Also, would be great if you updated your pick for a high quality dual wireless microphone/receiver/mixer which would best work with the recommended speaker, note I'd like both the vocals and music to come out of the same speaker. Thanks so much!! Btw, it seems you linked two Wireless Microphone already but I'm not clear if I should get the one with HDMI or Bluetooth/UHF/RCA model?

The set up in the video is a Vizio sb100 soundbar and rca mic system. The HDMI ones I havent tried since I still have an older sound system. I don't know of any karaoke system that will work with Sonos but hopefully this will be come a reality. For now I would recommendrca connections.

Just bought an ION total PA 500 watts, working great with the iPad for Karaoke on KZbin via Bluetooth. And bought Roku stick plus trying to make the screen bigger on the tv through the iPad from Roku app but didn’t work. When you connect iPad to tv from Roku , you will see the screen on tv , but no way that you can sing with the ION PA. But if you switch around from iPad to ION PA ,then you can sing the song from iPad screen. Then you will lost the connection between iPad and tv and Roku. What is the connection,anything will help, Thank You.

OKBAOK but my LG sound bar has 3 function buttons (1- OPTICAL. 2- BLUETOOTH . 3- PORT IN .) If I select Bluetooth I will hear music from the TV via sound bar speakers. But when I select PORT IN , I will hear the microphone sound, but very very low ( just like whispering) and then no music sound from the sound bar. Do you have the same wireless microphone system that I have? In the back of the receiver has two outlets ( both said OUTA+ B and are using 6.35 mm ) one of them connected to the sound bar with the 6.35 to 3.5 mm adapter, where will the other one go? To TV?

Tv should be connected to the sound bar only, then you’d connect the WiReless mics to the sound bar and it should mix the music you play on tv with your voice (basically playing both at the same time).

They don't include RCA cables because most new tvs don't have those inputs/outputs. I was hoping you were going to show how to connect to your tv via Bluetooth or HDMI

You can do this with an optic to rca converter. Set your smart tv to optic output (PCM) and connect to the converter. Connect the converter using an RCA wire to the mixer. And then the rest of the setup is the same.

great video and setup. I am looking to do something similar, but the one thing I think you're missing is the ability to change the key of the song. I see there are chrome plugins that can alter the key of the songs should the singer want to....but when you cast it wirelessly to the TV....it defaults to the original key. Let me know if you figured that out

@@gLaDyS_D You need to connect your TV (aux output port) to the Archeer box (R+L IN port) and then the Archeer box (R+L OUT port) to your soundbar (Aux in port), that way you will get both the TV and microphone sounds playing from your soundbar. Note: Aux port will either be 3.5mm or 6.5mm port. If your TV does not have an output aux port, it will be more complicated, as means you will need to buy a DAC that connects between the TV and Archeer box, this will convert the TVs digital audio output to analogue signal i.e. so it works with Aux port (this is analogue signal). E.g. if your TV has audio output using SPDIF (TOSLINK) or coaxial then you can buy a DAC like this from Amazon www.amazon.com.au/ESYNIC-Digital-Converter-Optical-Adapter/dp/B00IXN6L3G Sorry this part was bit technical, but hope I helped.

Did you have to unplug anything from the soundbar or the TV for the audio to work? I have the Visio Smart TV and have a video up and nothing is coming through the soundbar from the receiver - it's still playing the TV audio but not the microphones. Any thoughts?

Hey mate, so to confirm with the 3.5mm to RCA If I have a sound bar that doesn’t have RCA plugins but does have a 3.5mm jack, can I just use AUX to AUX rather than AUX to RCA? So the set up would be: Smart TV with KZbin capabilities (or laptop plugged in via HDMI) - and playing KZbin Smart TV has RCA routed to the mixer Mixer routes AUX to sound bar Bluetooth connects to the microphones AND also connects to iPhone incase u wanna play songs without the tv being on. That sounds correct. TV to mixer to Soundbar. The mics connect via VHF/uhf wireless. Your iPhone connects via Bluetooth (or 3.5mm if you want) then to Soundbar.

That won't work. The mixer combines TV audio with mic then output to sound bar. Mixer has to connect to your soundbar.

I know your comment is 2yrs old now lol but I got the same concern. I went to a shop few weeks ago where they sell these kinda stuff sound systems, instruments etc. I was looking for a jack to connect my wireless mic to the soundbar but I was told it’s not advisable because it will shorten the lifespan of the soundbar and I have to purchase a separate amplifier for it. How true is that? Or was it some kinda sales talk he was preaching? 😂

Need help to setup a karaoke system at home Hi guy. I want to set a karaoke system by using a Behringer 1240usb mixer And a samsung smart tv And speaker will be a Lg sound bar I plugged the TV and the sound bar by a optical cable and it’s work just fine. But i try to connect the sound bar and the mixer through usb cable and it doesn’t work, i can’t control the volume of the sound bar from the mixer. The USB feature on your mixer is meant only for a connection between it and your computer as an audio interface for recording software. You need to connect your t.v. and microphones to two separate input channels on the mixer, and connect your sound bar to the audio output on the mixer. Adjust the levels to taste and enjoy.
