I agree. What we all need to understand though is that these corporations (FB, Insta, TT, YT, Twitch... ect) are providing a service and we're using it. They can remove us from their service at anytime just as an employeer can (aka At-Will). I already made my comment on Stevie's channel video, this stinks and I hope that it can get worked out but knowing the service business I doubt there is anything that can be done about it. :(

This has zero to do with free speech. Free speech doesn’t allow you to say anything you choose, anywhere you choose. You don’t have free speech at your job. You don’t have free speech in a courtroom. Your words can get you kicked out of any business if the owner so chooses. Social media platforms are allowed to have rules and enforce them. You do, however, have the choice not to use those platforms if you don’t like their rules.

KZbin does this way to often. Unless they can give you definitive answers by a human, nothing negative should ever happen to the creator. By definitive I mean exact timestamps and exact reason. Many times it's just AI taking action without a human ever verifying the content. Even if you can get the claim reversed you are not reimbursed for money lost due to fraudulent claims. The whole process is garbage and has been that way for years. KZbin has done nothing to correct the problem. There is no viable alternative to KZbin so they don't care. Even on sites that have had higher payout per views, they don't have enough viewers or discoverability to make up the difference. You wont see a large groups of viewers and creators leaving the platform, so youtube knows they can get away with anything they want. Even the youtuber union couldn't get them to really fix anything.

Yt doesn't want debate or any other points of view. They put you guys under siege and try to starve you out. I'm sure the time & money isn't cheap to get no returns from ad revenue or a piece of premium however that works. I also don't know how rumble works on making a living or at least braking even. Some "creators " just watch movies , listen to music or just watch other yt clips and add nothing. Commentary in depth is completely different. Seems like they are just singling people out without reason. I'm not getting notifications for any conservative channels. This time I did 🤔🤔

There have been a lot of problems with community guidelines and channels getting demonetized or flagged incorrectly and many channels have been dealing with it. Conspiracy theories aside (who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory?), there is an ACTUAL issue that is just a technical challenge and that is that to call KZbin "popular" does not even begin to convey just how much content there is. About 3.7 million videos with a combined runtime of about 30 years get uploaded by users EVERY SINGLE DAY. KZbin only has 2800 employees, and so in order to personally quality check every video by hand would require every single employee watch about 96 hours of video 24/7/365, which is obviously impossible. So either KZbin would have to hire about 35,000 employees JUST to watch all the content which would be insane, OR they have to rely on AI and other automated tools to try and manage their content. One of the tools they use is of course letting the community do moderation for them by means of reporting videos, but that is easily exploited by haters and trolls, don't like someone? Just report all their content and after a certain threshold the automated code sees a lot of reports and automatically flags their account until the creator appeals and it gets to a person. This is a big reason why they can't always tell you what you did wrong, because perhaps you did nothing wrong and the code just got confused. KZbin employees only get involved when creators make enough of a stink online to get some bad PR, but to be fair, managing 271,330 hours of new videos every day is too much for anyone to expect it to go well. The fact that it works at all is a miracle. What's worse, the fact that the systems are easily exploitable by haters and trolls has even become a matter of national security. Russia employs between 30,000 and 100,000 people whose full time job is to pretend to be Americans online and upvote pro-Russian stuff and downvote and report anti-Russian stuff and spread disinformation and post fake content and fake comments and all of that. Putin actually spends more money on that than on his military. So, we may not be under physical attack (yet), but they are definitely attacking us in other ways (so is China). BUT - most users or content creators can't tell the difference, and the social media algorithms and other systems can't either. It's a mess Cheers

It's not their face. It's by definition their REACTION. Fair use is governed by 'is something new added' - if a person sits silently through a video, nothing is added. If a person is reacting, both with actions and pausing to comment etc, that is the very definition of adding something new, the video changes in style and tone. Very odd how this is selectively applied. I've seen many gamers do reactions which are monetised - the reality is its about 'controversial' content

But taken to an extreme, any news footage used, even with an anchor talking over the video, you could claim they were not creating their own content either. On the other hand, if you watch a full movie, uncut, and don't pause, att extra context, reactions etc, then I 100% agree it's cheap plagiarism

My question would be. Is using artist music videos or in your content the problem? Would that be considered using other peoples content? I know there is ton's of reaction channels. Also can reaction channels be monetized? If they use footage from something they didn't personally create? Since you're technically profiting off of someone else's music/video in a way. I know very little about how all this works. Just curious if that could be the reason or something along those lines? Regardless the outcome, I love Stevie. That man is a real one!!!
