THIS WORKS BIG TIME!!!!!! Jamie is my KZbin Mentor (I book hourly meetings with him and am about to transition to a full fledge client on one of his packages now I am earning money via KZbin). In one of our mentoring sessions he explained this to me (the content of this podcast). I applied it to my channel (testing something new on a NONE evergreen video -for a change). In the first 15 HOURS it got OVER 20,000 views. The watch time is OVER 10 MINUTES. My views are normally between 1,500-7,300 during this time. And the watch time is 5:59 min longer than normal. I cannot wait to try this on a evergreen video! Jamie thanks so much, I really appriecate it P.S I would have tried this just based on watching the podcast even if we had not covered this in our meetings as you explain it like you did in our meeting but obviously having your time one on one, it really helps as you adjust the examples to make them unique to my channel which is massively helpful.

Great interview, great guest. The way he speaks about repeatable series is a lot more functional and less robotic than other similar advice I’ve heard about the same thing. I hate when Ali says, “it’s just a title and a list” that’s such BS. But suggesting a repeatable action so that your audience understands what they’re getting when clicking, and is attractive to new viewers, is awesome and I should take that advice myself. I have a few hit videos that easily could be turned into series, but I don’t because I don’t want to become “that guy.” I’ve been advising KZbinrs for nearly a decade now, and had a lot of success transitioning creators from TikTok to KZbin. I’d love to be on your show at some point, cause you seem like a great conversationalist. Just hope pigeons don’t hit your windows

🌺So what do you look at to consider a successful video? views, how long they watch? We experiment and trying to figure what our community wants? If you are not getting returning viewers, what do you do? Shouldn't your subscribers be viewing your videos?

When that Ali Skincare thumbnail came out, it made me stop watching his channel, because the thumbnail was so badly photoshopped! Eye-catching, yes, but totally fake.
