I like the mixture of biographies on people and then on other things (the Seabiscuit one was unexpected and wonderful!). Keep up the good work. I'd personally like to see a Bio on Merrill Lynch, but that's cause my grandfather worked for them for 40 years

EA? Interesting.
@floutsch7 жыл бұрын
Biographics Certainly. I mean, I remember when I got chills off "challenge everything". Quite a while ago, but that only further illustrates the change EA has undergone over the years. They are heroes that lived long enough to become villains. Where did they come from, how did they change, what did they do? Buying companies and "on occasion" essentially gutting them. I digress... There are enough, though well earned videos hating on EA. Why not a more neutral telling of their story? Let Simon talk and the people will come :)

I was hesitant, but after a day or so I clicked this one up and I'm glad that I did. Somehow, the idea that some company's biography, so to speak, may have equal or greater impact than the life of an extraordinary person just sunk into my head. Um, if I may, after viewing this video, an obvious subject of a corporate biography is *Google* itself, KZbin's parent. I'll own up to being a borderline KZbin junkie and the addiction is only becoming more apparent as more and more broadcasters, such as Sky News, are putting their content into KZbin. A few years ago, I gave away my last TV to a neighbour, after I saw his set sitting in the alley waiting to go to the trash. For about the same amount of money that I was paying to some satellite TV company, I can get so much more via the Internet.

Maybe it’s because it’s people, and because I’m a corporate skeptic, and you (Simon) are a master story teller, but I find myself being more interested-like deeply engrossed-in this channel because of the single-person-subject approach. This is by far my favorite channel of yours, like even better than TIFO-and that says a lot because I LOVE that randomness. But yea, you should do a channel for just companies/organizations. Lol Make BioGraphics Personal Again. Either way where’s that AutoBiographic, Simon?!?!

Great job Simon and I would certainly watch more like this. However I didn’t get what I wanted from this one. Take a deep breath and let it out in a biiigg sigh as I tell you it’s pertinent that I am over 50 and have not worked in 25+ years. So I am a bit techno challenged. I was hoping you’d include things like : what’s monetisation, how do you get it, and how do you lose it? Why is Patreon important for keeping sites ad free.? And I just saw a comment on another of your sites by a fan who said he never “skipped ads” when watching you because that would lose you money. At which point I made a yelp, and am currently trying to work out how to frame my many queries for Google. So there you are, kids. Proof you are justified with the eye roll when grandma asks for your help with techno stuff. And yes, I can hear you all laughing.

Simon, I really love watching all your videos. This one was absolutely fantastic! The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the music was way too loud and it was really annoying. I am always amazed at how fast you are able to speak. I have now grown accustomed to people speaking faster on the Internet, and when somebody makes a video just speaking at regular speed it just feels so slow. Although sometimes you speak so fast I have to rewind a bit to figure out what you said. I really like this new biographics channel. Keep up the good work. But don’t make the music so loud.
