Is the fighter hitting the mitts as the coach offers them? What I mean is, is this free form or choreographed? The fighter is REALLY quick at hitting the mitts.

His single jab is only fist and shoulder... His back foot is pointed East, while the punch is traveling North.. instead - place the back foot, up on ur toes, (heel not touching the floor,) pointed straight ahead (North,) in the same direction in which the punch is being sent. Be sure to have the front knee slightly bent, and then take a slight falling step with your front foot, while pushing off the back foot (toes,) at the same time the jab is being thrown (all in one motion) This way, your whole body weight is being delivered with the jab...
@Thecabbieintheyyj10 жыл бұрын
you hold the mitts well... gotta have a good bag holder.
@jamesrayburn95059 жыл бұрын
I guess that would work in boxing, but his hands are down when he throws the combo which would most likely get him head kicked at some point.

@Lovell Rodriguez I agree she got head issues, but also her striking coach Edmond Tarverdyan was incompetent. IDK why she ever trained with him and why she didn't go to many different gyms to learn striking, instead of putting all her trust in a charlatan like him.

Where is that boy now? Is he a boxing champion now?
So basically your teaching your fighters to never do what Ali or Mayweather do so well. I hate it when 'coaches' tell their fighters to never move or slip backwards. Thats garbage. Esp if your a tall, rangey fighter, it works out quite well. You cant say much to this because once again, Ali and Mayweather do it all day. and your not anywhere near their level.
