I unsubbed to KZbin Premium a couple months back. Had it for background playing and downloading. But I just couldn't support them anymore. Let it burn.

If literally everybody on YT paid for premium, the platform would STILL operate at a deficit. Google knew it was literally a money pit when they purchased it; they only wanted KZbin for the brand recognition. They literally lose money on it every year and make up the difference elsewhere.

I didn't use adblocker on KZbin and was perfectly fine dealing with ads, until they started putting unskippable ads in front of every video. They put *two* in front of each one now and the site is basically unusable without an adblocker, since otherwise I need to sit through over a minute of ads just to watch what I actually came here to see.

I would have been mostly fine with it (my bandwidth, maybe less so) and just used them to wander off and go do other things, like I used to do with TV, but annoyingly one, the ads aren't correctly volume-corrected to the video so I get my ears assblasted like I clicked a YTP by accident, two, they don't clamp their ad time like TV does so you can't rely on X runtime of ads per Y runtime of video, and three, youtube shoves ads mid-sentences which is really not funny, at least put them in the creator-designed spots instead of all over the video. Can't believe I'm saying this but I want the TV ad corporations' rules on KZbin ads. At least THEY were reasonable, to a point.

Premium was already too expensive, and now they increased the prices again. Absolutely delusional. At the same time they break Chrome plugins, and apparently they are working on Android tech that will make it impossible to install cracked ad-free apps. People who jump through this many hoops to avoid ads will never ever give in. I'll leave both Chrome and Android if I have to.
