Addiction counselor here. The cop says, "His eyes are pinpointed, he's on coke!" But coke doesn't make your pupils pinpointed. It does the exact opposite. Because coke is a stimulant, it encourages the release of dopamine and endorphins in large amounts. The user’s eyes react by enlarging the pupils. To be fair he was not arrested for window tint he was arrested for driving a vehicle multiple times, which he was told was illegal to operate in the state. If you have a vehicle violation, it can be ruled that the vehicle can not be driven until the violation has been dealt with, and it passes the states vehicle code. Until the time the vehicle is in compliance with the vehicle code, it shouldn't be on the road. I was pulled over for a license plate violation I had purchased my Lancer Evo out of state the vehicle didn't come with a front plate holder as it came from a state that didn't require a front plate. I put the plate in the front window so it was visible from the front thinking it was all good. I passed a state trooper he didn't see the plate in the window and pulled me over he seen I tried to comply with the law and had the plate visible from the front so he let me off without even a warning in fact he told me it was fine and I would never get a ticket for it. About a week later, I was pulled over again for the same violation this time by a local cop he wrote me a ticket and warned me to get it fixed. I fixed the issue, took pictures, went to the city's prosecuting attorney, told him the details of the case, and showed it has been resolved and he dropped the ticket. The first time he got a ticket should have been a clue that there is an issue and unless he wants to be pulled over again he should work to resolve it before driving the same vehicle around. Now, if he said he was taking the vehicle to a shop to deal with the illegal window tint and that is why he was driving the vehicle, then I could see getting upset with the cop. But when you are warned multiple times and make no effort to resolve the issue, it falls on you it is your responsibility to comply with the law, even the laws you don't agree with.

@ThePratt61 He wasn't arrested for the window tint he was arrested for failure to obey an officer's lawful order. The previous day, when he was pulled over for the tint violation by the motorcycle officer, he was given a lawful order to drive the vehicle home or to a repair shop and fix the violation. He chose to ignore the officer's lawful command and was caught driving the next day to the gym. Now before you say the order was an unlawful order consider that the order did not violate his constitutional rights or was it out of the authority of the police officer to tell him not to continue to break the law. If you can tell me how ordering someone to not break the law is a unlawful order then you will be the first person I've ran into that could. He had multiple tickets because anytime he drove the vehicle it was in violation of the law he was committing a violation every time he drove the vehicle. The last time the officer gave him a lawful order to not drive again until the issue was fixed he disobeyed that order. He will go to court if he chooses that route he will probably plead guilty to the window tint violations and fight or try to cut a deal for the failure to obey charge. If the officer had his bodycam on when he gave him the lawful order it will be used against him, if it was all caught on camera and the officer didn't give him the lawful order then he could fight the case, and if it wasn't recorded at all it is his word against the officer's and it would be on the judge or jury to decide who is telling the truth.
@odencustoms1022 ай бұрын
@@urgreatestenemy3044 You are getting caught up in officers having the right to judge whether something is unlawful. They are basically issuing the ticket, then arresting for unlawful order that has yet to see a judge. Cops are there to enforce laws, not judge is what they did themselves was lawful. I am pretty sure he can not be issued multiple tickets for the same issue also if he has not been scheduled to see a judge for judgement. You will say, well they say its illegal, so it is right? Who knows, did they have a darkness measurement tool on hand , that they actually used, which is required by law to issue a ticket for tint in the first place? They certainly didn't in this video and without that, they have no evidence his tint is "unlawful". There are so many angles where their first violation could be thrown out of court that their followup tickets and arrest would be violating his constitutional rights. I am all for police doing police things, this is not one of them. This is a gang , literally, with authority to harass citizens based on their feelings. That is never ok and if you are ok with that, please explain why and how you overcome what I have outlined.

Can you show us the staute that says this? Honestly just want to see for myself as I've been pulled over before in the past for window tint as the only reason for the stop. Just want to be informed.

@@t16205Even if theres citations to bring the issue to the judge, the defendant is still not adjudicated guilty. It’s not grounds for criminal evasion either. OP is right that this is STILL not a primary reason for a vehicle stop.

@@anythingy69 You misunderstand, the reason he was put in jail was that he didnt obey a lawful order, not the tint in itself
