I worked for target for 7.5 years last year being 2018 and also went back in 2019 as part time. All stores do not have a overnight stock team. Flow team members came in at 4 am.

I used to work at Kmart. I once almost got locked in. You had to be at the door ready to go before they locked up for the night otherwise you're stuck. It's a very harsh punishment but (as most people know) used as a deterrent technique towards potential followers of the same offense/crime. Target has numerous stores & what if this started trending? This would be a huge loss to Target when considering possible damages to store/ merchandise, someone gets hurt or killed, loss of sponsors/affiliates, etc. Of course they're not gonna get the full 7yrs behind bars.
