Love this. I've actually been trying to cut my videos better and leave less "down time" so this helps alot! Gotta keep the viewers attention!
@FulaanCreative2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kenny! Yes exactly. It's been shown that faster paced videos keep attention longer but just gotta make sure you don't over do it as sometimes the pace on many videos feels too fast or rushed so a good balance is key.

You gotta school me as to how you are going about making your videos. I haven't really seen any jumpcuts and your are able to talk smoothly without hickups. Are you using a teleprompter or just freestyling it?
@GrindstoneGroomingCo2 жыл бұрын
@@FulaanCreative I have talking points on my laptop in front of me… I go over what I wanna say before I start filming. Hit record and go… I do ramble and have had to make a few cuts. And basically I’m not fluent enough with Davinci to make jump cuts
@FulaanCreative2 жыл бұрын
Gotchya, You are pretty smooth in front of the camera. I thought you may have been using a teleprompter or something but the speech comes off too natural for a teleprompter. Thanks for sharing! Eventually I will start practicing making videos without cuts but for now it's still too challenging for me. Peace!

This information is gold! I’m just starting out and my videos full of pauses uha’s and ummmms I have been trying to cut them when editing but the video just seems odd. I can’t wait to try these tips. What video editing software do you recommend using?

Far-out. I actually started doing something like that to shorten video from empty space. I'm sure your super busy, but if you happen to get to my comment and have to time to look at some of the editing in some of my videos and maybe get back with some advice I'd appreciate it.
@FulaanCreative Жыл бұрын
I briefly took a look at a few of your vids. The technique I talked about is more applicable to talking head vids. On most of your vids where it's more than just a talking head you can make cuts but you would cover them with b-roll.
@choppularmechanics Жыл бұрын
@Fulaan Creative Far-out, thanks for taking the time. And totally for sure😁
