Fulaan, appreciate the honesty and integrity! I followed because I like you content style and I enjoy videography and photography content. I get wanting to expand the type of content you produce. Not sure if a separate channel or this channel is the answer. So much of success is trial and error so follow your gut and pivot as necessary. Nameste.

Plus, when you did not know what was what, you just said so! I loved the realness. And congrats on all the milestones you have achieved in the past, and that you are sure to achieve in the future! You also inspired me to create my own channel! Remember to rest. Onward!

It’s possible you can overlay the ideas from the second channel into your current content or adjust the overall approach while keeping existing viewers in mind. To hit a million you need a lot of eyes on your videos and it can be time consuming starting from scratch. Thinking about your audience and what they are looking for is always helpful. Good luck man

Hello, I've been a fan from your distinct skill of telling stories in everything you do. You look like this plain guy, with a sort of machismo that isn't over the hill, but just enough to say, I am a man, and I am proud of myself, and I am here to help you with all that I have. And you have certainly given all that you have in every video, at least, that is what I see - I noticed you even do poetry work while testing audio equipment - now that's a "all you have" moment for me. :) And it was a shock at first, but it worked. I would say, you are relatable to me as a guy in his early fifties who loves video/photography, and serves the living God - from Whom all blessings flow - and was also taken back by the injustice during our 2020 fiasco, and created my first channel - Wise Guy: talking about crime and how to protect yourself... I haven't continued with it, but I wonder if a different look for you would reach more people business wise. I follow two guys, who made a huge group called, Content Creators, and to me they are doing great. I see you grabbing a partner and running with this same business mentality. But yeah, you got this bigger than life feel, a manly man - with the beard, hat, and t-shirt look. I bet you have boots and jeans on. Hahaha. I'm not suggesting on changing your look entirely, but i wonder if that would be something that will impact your viewership. I'll be praying for you and I hope the best for you. In the group I referred too, there are two guys. One seems to be the business master mind, and the other seems to be the people guy, the one who is the face and speaks really well with the people. I think that's going to help you from the perspective of having another person like you, but with a whole set of skills that compliment you, and you both can increase at what you are doing to reach your goal/s.

I originally subscribed to learn how to do talking head videos because you don't beat around the bush - super helpful. I stayed because of your personality. So when I was upgrading gear or considering a change, Fulaan Creative was the channel I would hit first. I deeply appreciate your stance on ads and would love to see you produce a course (not just the video you've done in the past) on being successful without the ad revenue, maybe across multiple platforms. The end goal of my main channel is to set the groundwork for an in person course for businesses, so another thing I would be interested in is you bringing us along on the process of creating your courses, just like your earlier videos brought us along on your journey to make better videos. This would be of personal interest because I want to find a way to make my in person course virtual... but most creators who discuss course creation are always talking how they would do it now if they started over - it's not as raw as how I believe you would do it. Whatever you decide, I love your stuff and appreciate your honesty!

Hi Fulaan :) I'm actually one of your newest subscribers and glad I stopped to watch this video this morning. I found your channel when searching the Canon R6 Mark ii and how it handles video and found your review from a while back. I am actually a 54 year old college senior. I went back to school to study Digital Media. So, my goal is to work for myself as a content creator as well. I'm particularly interested in documentary and podcast creation. I would be one of those that would benefit from the second channel based on the business side of things. It would be nice to get some tips on how to break out of imposter syndrome and actually get started with the business end of things. That's my biggest problem. I get in my own way because I always think I'm not ready. I'll be sticking around to see what you come up with. :)

Fulaan, I was searching for a good option when I was trying to upgrade from my Canon T7 and I was looking for comparison videos and you had one for the R50 and it was one of the deciding factors to why I bought it. So I found your channel really helpful that you have this very outgoing personality and just made it seem like anyone could do anything with that camera. As I still feel like I’m in a beginner to noice category of users I’d like to see more video breakdown on how to use video on Canon camera I’ve since added a R6mkii in addition to my R50 so trying to learn more about filming. Keep doing what you do, You’re one of the only guys I watch on a consistent basis behind Edris on BeyondtheGame. Yall would be a cool collab not gunna lie.

I understand your compulsion to not push your videos aimed at beginners to everyone. For someone like me, I just enjoy discussions about gear in general. I'm not in sports and player stats, I'm into gear. And sometimes a refresh on "beginner" stuff is helpful and fun. Also, anyone can talk about gear. But your USP is you + gear. Sometimes people like me also need a "beginner" video to share with people asking me questions. Also, the concerns you have about advertisement is valid. I don't know 100% how it works, but I think the ads are tailored to each user. It would be nice to have a checkbox of what ads we don't wish to associate with, but I think it's helpful to know that it all comes down to each user.

You helped me transition over to mirrorless, and even though I went with the R50, I'm thrilled with all it offers, which I first learned from you. Now, I'm getting ready to buy an R8, and you've helped me with that decision as well. So, thank you for being you and for being here. As for where the channel is headed, my perspective might be a little different. I was a beginner photographer in the 1980s and was doing pro photojournalist and portraiture work from the 1990s to about 2010. Then, my life was interrupted by a personal occurrence. Basically, while I used to know a lot about photography, I've had to learn it all over again... and adapt to the mirrorless technology. So, while I have 15 years of pro work behind me, I'm still a beginner, and I love learning about everything my current and future cameras can do, and you do a great job of teaching that. At the same time, I'd love to learn how to sell my stills online. But, before we do that, I still need to learn what a LUT is, how to load it and how to use it in Lightroom or Photoshop. LOL. They look awesome, but it's new technology, and the industry just assumes everyone knows how to use it. That's where teachers like you are essential in my opinion, and I would pay to learn that... be it via an online class or for a video that contains "All you need to know about LUTS."

I would recommend to push your videos regardless as the algorithm is a joke anyway. Plus you can always segment them into playlists so beginners can find what interests them. I subbed as I like your style! Funny and could see your personality. Gear reviews are cool too along with the tips and tricks. I dig your mission! I wouldn’t know how to get there but for sure you need a website and a different platform so the powers at be find it harder to cancel you. Be cool to see how things pan out and unlike most of the population, you don’t want to sit back and see unjustice prevail. People think just because it doesn’t affect me, they don’t need to get involved or worse record things unfold on their phone for social media! Governments work for us and we need to drive that

Subscribed for your honest gear reviews! I run a small software business that doesn’t normally handle marketing, but we’re often asked to help. We decided to support a local African-cuisine caterer, and I’ve only done videos for fun until now using gopro and iphones but your channel inspired me to grab a used M50 Mark II and Comica VM40 mic. If you create a new channel I would like more guidance on planning, scripting, and delivering a premium service. For example, I bought the camera equipment and found some business owners who needed help with marketing content, but now what? How do create a script that conveys her stories and showcases the cuisine? Not only this but tells it in a way someone random listening to her story would want to come visit her restaurant? Then after i show up on the scene what do i even do? I'm not sure if your other followers would like this but this is just my opinion for my current situation and next problems I face after watching your videos.

The advertisers get to choose the videos & channels they want their ads on so creators should be able to choose which ads they run right? Regarding them showing ads anyway, currently if you have are not eligible for monetization then they will show ads on your videos weather you like it or not but once you are eligible you can opt out and no ads will be shown on your vids.
