There’s a theory a lot of people believe in that Just Stop Oil is backed by Oil Tycoons to give other organizations a bad rep which honestly doesn’t seem that far fetched. If you know all of them are gathering at the Banquet, you could get volunteers from all over the city (rotation base) to block their personal vehicles from ever getting out from the parking lot. I wonder if that building has central heating in the room they were using. Or more simply, I wonder how much energy (oil/gas) is used, not required necessarily, just used, to keep that building heated in winter. A bunch of misguided eco terrorists (and I hate GB news) should expect to be audited in this way since they think it's ok to mess up normal people's lives whilst they're wearing their plastic Doc Martens boots made from leather. And then there's the high viz jackets, all of which are made from synthetic polyesters. Our planet is doomed either way. The fact that our stpid inept government in UK 1. are outlawing ICEs by the end of the decade, 2. don't have any idea how they're gpoing to strengthen the national grid to deal with the extra demand or mention how is a disgrace. The biggest winner in this switch to battery powered cars are the dictator governments in Africa which have vast rare metal reserves as well as oik; enriching their personal coffers.
