@@faeriegraver, I don't think they could have used parm. I've definitely had parm go bad when I got some in pre-sliced or pre-shredded form. mold psa; mold in cheese is not regular mold and is added in a controlled setting intentionally with strict regulation and rules. Only very specific types of cheese even use mold and they're not going to be the type shredded and packaged into pre-made meals for children! There are some cheeses you can safely cut out the mold by gauging out a large chunk around it, but items like bread or fruit will have mold all throughout even if you can't see it. Mold on one piece of bread in a loaf means the entire loaf is unsafe to eat. Any fruit touching molded fruit should likewise be considered hazardous, though specifics obviously can vary depending on the fruit. If you have a container you're intending to re-use that had mold in it, clean it thoroughly ASAP. Please please please do not just eat around a moldy spot you're risking very serious illness and injury.

Not directly related to Lunchly but another Mr. Beast product: I’m working part time as a cashier at a supermarket. I see small kids buying these chocolate bars all the time (and they’re bought exclusively by children. I have never seen a teenager or adult buy these things). They’re not only overpriced and unhealthy, they also taste very meh. I’m pretty sure that the only reason why these kids continue to buy these chocolate bars is because they’re from Mr. Beast. IMO parents should start to pay attention to what their kids are buying and who they’re “idolizing”. They’re kids and they’re kinda dumb. They would buy anything that is advertised by this man. Regardless of whether it’s good for them or not.

Before his defenders bring up that other real cheese don't have to put a mold warning....other brands if they had customers calling about moldy product they wouldn't be laughing about it, other brands would recall the product and figure out what went wrong to fix it. By laughing about it, they are saying that the mold is a feature not a bug, and therefore there needs to be warning label like how candy even without nuts has to have a warning stating there could be residual tree nut from other products. They want to laugh, that means they don't consider it a problem for the mold to be there. Someone with the funds needs to show them there are consequences to disregarding food safety. Stew Leonard's was sued earlier this year, lunchlys needs to be sued on similar grounds. Boar's Head was sued for contaminated foods due to quality control issues, lunchlys needs to be sued on those same grounds. Remember it's the manufacturer's duty to ensure food is safe.

Hm. I've never had mozzarella mold. Is it different if you buy the kind that's in a ball in fluid, instead of the pre shredded kind? Has nothing to do with the video but now I'm curious.
@Raven7440825 күн бұрын
Lunchly specifically uses low moisture mozzarella. The only mozzarella that's "full of water" is fresh mozzarella, but that usually doesn't come shredded. Even if that were the case, a product that is sealed correctly or uses enough preservatives should not mold that fast.
@arianeponicelli911523 күн бұрын
hmm even if that wasn't the case , why is the expiration date until december then. real cheese doesn't stay good that long
@Stephh9922 күн бұрын
@@arianeponicelli9115 if it's sealed and refrigerated it does. i have a block of colby jack that will be good until January 2025 if i don't open it and expose it to air

'we use real cheese they use "cheese product" (they can't call it cheese)' well at what point is the mold percentage too high to call your thing "cheese" either? at what point is it mold ft. cheese
@octoolivia674525 күн бұрын
That begs the question - which is healthier, cheese product or mould product?/j
@Moon_x_sun25 күн бұрын
I would assume any % of mold on mozzarella is bad and would make it mouldy cheese just bc of that but it is a very interesting question anyway

Cheese product just means they took cheese scraps and remelted them with some water to make a new block of cheese which happens to be the exact method of making American cheese.
@samaraisnt25 күн бұрын
^i thought that american cheese had 0 cheese in it? is that wrong??
@Moon_x_sun25 күн бұрын
@@RealSlowLike actually it gets mixed with emulsifiers, preservatives and salt and fat not just water

Rosanna helping people who don't have platform to speak their issue is not her cloud chasing. She has the means for many contestants who got wronged in the beast game to tell their story. I'm just so glad we had her, someone who is using her platform to help others and air out the dirty laundry of a big influencers.

I mean, yes, but reality TV _is_ very often staged and dramatised. Some of the blowups you see about "I was told to do and say xyz" and "you planted that object there to make me look bad" are genuinely based in truth, if not themselves being orchestrated for the drama.
@MelMelodyWerner23 күн бұрын
yeah, of all the people who _would_ plant shit like that-reality TV motherfuckers are at the top of the list, lol.

its INSANE that in all their planning for this product, not one single person stopped to think about how using “real cheese” in a product with an assumed long shelf-life would result in it getting mouldy absolute stupidity at its finest

@just.a.cat.2252 That's literally what it is. Logan especially is treating his business ventures like games, and he doesn't even care to read the tutorial. The end result is the consumer either being scammed (or apparently now sent to hospital) over his gross negligence.

I'm French so I have a fair share of moldy cheese knowledge. A lot of our cheeses sold in supermarkets are not pasteurized but they're still not moldy. For a cheese to get moldy in a sealed environnement it means old spores had to be present when the product was packaged, therefore an unsanitary food environment. It is a living thing feeding off of cheese so if you don't introduce the living thing it shouldn't be there. Especially on pasteurized cheese 🤦
@fishtower104625 күн бұрын
Number 15: Lunchly cheese mold. The last thing you'd want in your Lunchly lunchbox is someone else's cheese fungus. But as it turns out, this might be what you get.
