The thing is he deleted it afterwards. If he hadn't done that KZbin would have probably said "my bad" and remonetized him. By deleting it inference can be made from it because of the way he responded to the KZbin Twitter account addressing it. If he had just said "I deleted the Tweet because I felt the joke was in poor taste. I was just making fun of QuantumTV." I think KZbin would have lost all the face they had left. Instead he kind of said of bunch stuff that someone could make up in the fly to quickly address what happened while saving face. If you look at it from an unbiased point of view. Him making the joke was risky enough. But it would have worked if he followed through on it and made KZbin look childish. Instead he made the joke and went back on it. Which means he should have just never made the joke in the first place. If he hadn't done that QuantumTV's channel wouldn't even exist anymore. It's the one thing JayStation is actually right about. The Act Man DID fuck up there.

If Alex and his racist friends just forwarded their evidence to the police, they would take over the investigation and would have handled it themselves. Seeing these same issues crop up day after day, year after year really makes me think KZbinrs (and streamers along with other digital media creators) really should unionize. It would easily give them the combined influence to not get stomped on in decision making and provide various tools to handle legal, community, platform or other issues. Hell, it would probably even save KZbin/platforms a lot of time, effort and work hours by not having to deal with every case individually after hearing it from social media outrage first.

As a Turkish citizen, I am worried about the Bill C-11. Nations with good reputation regarding human rights and democracy such as Canada passing irrational laws like this will legitimise other autocratic countries' attempts to follow suit. Our government justifies our latest social media law by saying that European countries pass similar laws too, when in reality our law will be used to quash the opposition even further by simply labeling it as "provocative misinformation".
