Yoyoka just transforms as soon as she get behind the kit, she’s my absolute favorite drummer 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰

Yoyoka’s warm-up: “Where’s the cowbell? Oh there it is. Okay I’m ready.” She is such a pro. 😎

I love Yoyoka's solo 'at home' covers. However, Wave, you're right, her ability to play live on an unfamiliar kit, unrehearsed, with a band she's never played with before is truly impressive. The ideal professional for a studio or stand-in drummer. She takes less time to adjust to that drum kits layout and pedals than I spend adjusting to the indicator stalk and pedals on an unfamiliar car. Best Wishes. ☮

Thanks Wave, another quick one! YOYOKA is the antithesis of a diva and a producer’s dream. Her spatial awareness is stunning. This was also her first time playing such a big bass drum.

Thanks Wave and Rob Yule! Actually, I think the "Strange Kit" is actually her own kit. She does so many walk on gigs, all over the place, that are unplanned and unrehearsed, that I think she plays more on strange kits than her own. She can adapt to anything, anytime, anywhere. You probably remember the kit, was it an NAMM, that was literally falling apart right before her eyes, to her every beat. Her dad kept reaching his hand up, to adjust the cymbals and such, almost losing a hand to couple of her beats. She just kept playing like nothing was wrong. She was just laughing. Many of the people that watch these events have no idea what greatness they have just witnessed until later on. What a wonder to the world!

Hey Wave! My thoughts exactly about the kick pedal! She is the opposite of a diva!. She's been gigging for 10 years. I still remember seeing her play Come Together when she was 4 yrs old. Astounding then and she's Astounding now!

When you said that must be the original drummer I had a WTF moment, until I thought you must mean the drummer of that band (we lost Bonzo forty years ago). Yoyoka is always awesome

Strange is an unfitting word to use in this case. I'd change 'strange' to 'unfamiliar'.
